Growing up in Los Angeles and currently living in Miami, I doubt I'm going to see snow at all for the first time in my life.

Though there are places in Southern, or at least maybe closer to Central California where it does snow, and it is slightly chilly around this time, so I don't know what 70-degree weather bullshit that Matt Young character was talking about.

Hell last night it was 58 degrees here in Miami. Most likely a record low.

It was 68 degrees at that time. Ever since I got here 3 weeks ago, the temperature has varied from as high as 75 during the day to low 60s, and at night it's anywhere from as high as 50 to as low as 35. At any rate, 60's may be cold to you, but I come from Illinois where I'm used to sub-zero winters. 60 degrees is a picnic for me.

Just as a side note- it's too bad you're not still around these parts. I love my marijuana and the Green Bay Packers (I'm wearing a GB sweatshirt now) so we have a little in common, heh.

It flurried a little on Thanksgiving but it didn't amount to anything. Snow is hit or miss here.

We either get none or a shitload. Nothing in between.

I live in southwestern Ohio.

I probably lived way too far from you. I vaguely remember a town called Moreno Valley.. Is that by Riverside? I don't know. I'm from Santa Clarita, Valencia in particular. It's the town where Six Flags Magic Mountain is, for people who don't know. That usually rings a bell.

Winter > Summer.  Well, aside from the first 2-3 weeks in January when we are in the Deep Freeze.  The rest of the time its great.

How the fuck can you say that? Honestly. I want answers.

- Cold wind and snow blowing in your face

- Black ice

- Freezing rain

- Hail

- Ice pellets

- Slower traffic times

- Shovelling

All of these things are huge, huge knocks against winter. What negatives does summer carry with it?

Fuck snow. It's snowing right now, it's been snowing all day, and the lazy bastard highway patrol didn't plow or do anything with it, so I drove home going about 40-45.

I abhor winter. I need to move to Fiji.

Sweltering heat and bugs, where I live.

Winter's worse, though.
