ChrisMWaters Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 ...has Undertaker EVER won on the December PPV? ...seriously, that thought just occured to me.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Booker T is winning. Whenever someone says "You can't win the big one", they actually do. Of course, the only times I think it's been said was to Jericho & Benoit (maybe to Eddie too).
JoeDirt Posted November 26, 2004 Author Report Posted November 26, 2004 ...has Undertaker EVER won on the December PPV? ...seriously, that thought just occured to me. Yeah, 1995 he beat Mabel in a casket match. Also he beat RVD at Vengeance in 2001 in a hardcore match.
Guest Phenom Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I'll check the WIA. EDIT: In Your House #5, he beat Mable in a Casket match.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 ...has Undertaker EVER won on the December PPV? ...seriously, that thought just occured to me. def. Mabel at In Your House V def. The Executioner (Terry Gordy) at Armageddon 1996...I mean In Your House. def. RVD at Vengeance 2001 (replaced Armageddon that year)
Guest Phenom Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I'm putting the Vince in my sig. What should he say?
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 "I wish I had something in that size."
Australian Pride Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 ...has Undertaker EVER won on the December PPV? ...seriously, that thought just occured to me. def. Mabel at In Your House V def. The Executioner (Terry Gordy) at Armageddon 1996...I mean In Your House. def. RVD at Vengeance 2001 (replaced Armageddon that year) Has he ever won at The Royal Rumble? I think he beat Bret Hart by DQ, but it could of been the other way around.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Hmm... 1991: Lost in Rumble 1992: Lost in Rumble 1993: Lost in Rumble 1994: Lost to Yokozuna 1995: Def. IRS 1996: Def. Bret Hart by DQ 1997: Lost to Vader and Rumble 1998: Lost to HBK 2001: Lost Rumble 2002: Lost Rumble 2003: Lost Rumble He's only won 1 match by pin/submission and never won a Rumble (shockingly).
JoeDirt Posted November 26, 2004 Author Report Posted November 26, 2004 I liked how after the first masked man was revealed as Danny Basham and then the second guy runs in and shoves Eddie off the top rope, Cole goes "hey, it's another fan! OH NO WAIT! IT'S DOUG BASHAM!"
ChrisMWaters Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 OK...new question... Has Undertaker ever won at an official Armageddon PPV?
CBright7831 Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I can't believe they're doing a Show/Reigns feud over Luther not liking Thanksgiving. Wow. There's a reason for that. They couldn't do the Shampoo Commercial feud. Goddamn, you should be stabbed for bringing that back up.
JoeDirt Posted November 26, 2004 Author Report Posted November 26, 2004 OK...new question... Has Undertaker ever won at an official Armageddon PPV? 1999: Was injured 2000: Lost in 6-man HIAC 2002: Didn't wrestle 2003: RAW PPV, didn't wrestle
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Note he didn't suffer the actual loss in the match, he just didn't win it either. (Angle pinned The Rock), so I see him as 0-0.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I'm alarmed at the prospect of another Basham push.
JoeDirt Posted November 26, 2004 Author Report Posted November 26, 2004 I'm alarmed at the prospect of another Basham push. Be afraid, AS...be very afraid. I see RVD and Rey winning the tag titles at Armageddon and then going on to feud with them... Uggh.
Guest Brian Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Booker T is winning. Whenever someone says "You can't win the big one", they actually do. Of course, the only times I think it's been said was to Jericho & Benoit (maybe to Eddie too). They said that about Booker T going into WrestleMania 19, drilling it in our heads that he wasn't at HHH's level, but he ended up getting decisively beaten.
JoeDirt Posted November 26, 2004 Author Report Posted November 26, 2004 I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but can someone tell me why there are two Smackdown TV tapings back to back, one on Tuesday, 12/28, and the other on Wednesday, 12/29? Plus they have a TV taping the next Tuesday on 1/4/05, and throughout the rest of the month as well. Just a typo?
Use Your Illusion Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I'm guessing Booker will win, drop it to Angle next month who will go on to face Taker at Wrestlemania.

I thought it was more racist than anything "Your people aren't World Championship material" then handing him a dollar to fetch him a towel...yikes. It's all a matter of time though before Booker does win it, and a 4-way is the easiest way to have someone lose the title without it being clean.
