A little kid just asked me if it was OK to post about the Yankees and Kurt Angle on TSM. (I'm not too keen on the AS hate; I'm assuming his talk reagarding these two topics, among other things, is what he was hated for around here...)

It was his constant bitching about almost EVERYTHING the Yankees did. A rumor comes up about Eric Milton, and he goes off. A report comes out that the Yankees initial offer to Carlos Beltran was ONLY $13.5 million/year, and he comes the bitch train. That he cheered for the Yankees had nothing to do with his banning. He was simply intolerable, and ultimately contributed nothing to the discussion.

For the record, has anyone else been banned before who had contributed articles to the site?  I remember one of AS' rants being up on the main page before.

I said he had a little bit of the "my opinion is fact" portion of the syndrome not that he was a full blown choken one all over again.

It's funny because AS pretty much reinvented himself at TSM. For the first 2 years, he was bitching and bitching about Angle, but the past year or so, that seemed to stop and he just started bitching about the Yankees only. I had a feeling he'd be gone the moment the Yankees lost game 7. There was no way he was making it through the entire off season

Yes, I spot check threads. I always read through NBA threads, and I have interests beyond baseball. I don't often slag through football threads, but on occasion that a poster has a complaint, I check into it.
