DMann2003 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Let me put it this way, True Lies is his worst (and it's still a damn good action film) The Abyss (director's cut) is vastly underrated
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Terminator is probably his only film I'd personally rate higher than "good and enjoyable". However, for a director with only 7 feature films he has a very good resume. Even if two were sequels to popular films and one was about a historic event that has always been popular. T2 and Aliens are good, but the orignals are superior. The Abyss is probably the better "underwater miners" movie. However, all of those movies sorta blend together, so that lessens my opinion on all of them. Titanic is hated for no good reason, and it's not nearly as bad as they would have you believe. However, I've seen it 3 times and I'm in no hurry to watch it again. I didn't care for True Lies at all and it's one of the most overrated action films ever. I haven't seen Piranha Part Two: The Spawning, but I'm sure it's crap. Afterall, it does have flying killer fish.
