And what exactly would be Jericho's motivation to give HHH a World Title shot? Rematch Clause. Ok. Bob Backlund should come back tonight and say he never did get his rematch..the clause is still active. I'd piss myself. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE WWE! Wrong title belt though. He'd have to do that on Smackdown. Smackdown has a world title? Just because it isn't called it doesn't mean the WWE Title isn't a World Title. I still consider it the REAL World's Title, despite who has held it.

Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I was expecting Jericho to get the week where nothing makes sense and books weird shit and does tributes to 80's glam rock but instead they built up this "compelling" storyline for him to handle. All logic would point that Jericho simply say "Benoit and Edge tied. The title is vacant since the champion wasn't involved in the finish. The champion will be determined TONIGHT! But don't think I'm being a nice guy! Edge and Benoit obviously...hate each other. Two weeks ago they had a hellacious cage match but tonight it'll be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Anything goes Babeee! However...Why would I be doing this if i was getting something out of this? You know I am a egomanaic just like triple h is but this time for once i have control and I have already ancipated Triple H's bitchfest, and he'll get his title shot...if he can win the royal rumble in a month because He has now LOST his title shot privilges like he forced Orton to lose! So what else do i get? simple...Edger...Benoit...Whoever wins tonight...it doesn't matter because on January 9th in Putero Rico, it's going to be a big time party and everyone is invited to celebrate when I win the World Title because I've already given myself the title shot at New Year's Revolution and there's nothing NOTHING Bischoff or McMahon can do about it! It's Ironclad! Now, let's have some fun!!!!" Instead Jericho is clueless and HHH finds a loophole and likely takes a shot at Jericho not being able to find loopholes anymore and Jericho jobs himself to Tomko.

They're really gonna blow their last five grams of credibility if Jericho, of all people, let's him horn in on tonight's match.

He'll be all happy, but then Jerihco will come out and say Hunter wasn't involved in the finish, so he thinks there should be a rematch, with himself as guest ref. HHH will retain the title (Edge and Benoit will somehow cost one another the match), Jericho will count the 3 count, HHH will stumpble up the ramp, only for Jericho to announce (as his last act as GM) that at NYR HHH will have to defend the World Title against....Chris Jericho.

The show, in reality, is Raw Is HHH and the WWE will never let us forget that.

No matter what anyone says, he L-O-S-T. The only question remaining is who is champion between Edge and Benoit (and this is where Jericho could enter himself into the fray), while HHH should largely be blaming Randy Orton, and thusly that is where I suggest that a match could be made between them two tonight. Now, if Jericho does NOT enter himself into the Edge/Benoit thing, I could see him setting himself up to face the winner next week and having Jericho take on Batista (based on stuff from the "you should have beat him" line). A Raw consisting of: Orton vs. HHH Edge vs. Benoit - World Championship Jericho vs. Batista Shelton vs. ??? Eugene/Regal vs. ??? A women's match and a Simon Dean segment ...could be quite the two hours, especially spicing it up with Jericho's schtick.
