1234-5678 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2004 3PW Saturday December 18, 2004 8PM ECW Arena Philadelphia, PA (Swanson and Ritner Streets-next to Forman Mills) (215) 602-83PW [email protected] [email protected] www.3PWrestling.com http://profiles.myspace.com/users/5146313 MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM DREAM BATTLE! "Fallen Angel" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS & "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES take on LOW-KI and SLYCK WAGNER BROWN! Last month, the greatest rivalry in 3PW history came to an abrupt pause, as the long awaited third match between 3PW Heavyweight Champion "Fallen Angel" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES was marred by the interference of the new alliance of LOW-KI and SLYCK WAGNER BROWN, two athletes who had beaten the holy hell out of EACH OTHER in a match earlier that night. Clearly, a bond was formed between these two hard-hitting controversy magnets, so much so that Low-Ki has apparently convinced Slyck to drop any remaining ties to APRIL HUNTER . AJ Styles has had such a rough 2004 in 3PW, most would say that he truly had nowhere to go but up. However, nobody, not even Styles himself, could have predicted the events that transpired last month. Not only did the two most prominent bullies in 3PW cost him his shot at ultimate glory, they also chose to continue the beatdown afterwards. AJ was in major trouble, when none other than Christopher Daniels himself chose make the save, running off Brown and Ki in the process. Now, 3PW has booked a tag team grudge match that is a dream come true for many fans, but may be nothing short of a nightmare for the Phenomenal one. "The Fallen Angel" claims that, despite their rocky past, he holds a deep sense of respect for Styles, but AJ must be wary. After all the wars, after all the verbal mudslinging, after all the mind games that Daniels has unleashed on his greatest rival over the last year, can he be trusted? If so, December 18th could see the end of a legendary feud and the beginning of the greatest partnership 3PW has ever seen. If NOT, AJ Styles could find himself at the mercy of not only Low-Ki and the "Underground King", but the 3PW Heavyweight Champion! LOSER LEAVES 3PW! CHRIS SABIN meets former 3PW Champion JOEY MATTHEWS! Love him or hate him, there is no denying the impact that Joey Matthews has made in 3PW, and vice versa. After all, Joey is one of the only athletes to succeed in this company for it's entire history, and has truly earned his place in the history books of Philly Wresting, thanks to his memorable 3PW Championship reign. Whether teaming with Christian York, leading his "minions" into battle, or emerging as one of the most talented singles wrestlers in the sport today, Matthews has become a main-event fixture on Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling. Unfortunately, Joey's pride, as well as his mouth, may have put all that history in jeopardy, thanks to CHRIS SABIN, who managed to pin the former champ in a high-profile match last month. Sabin has been sensational since arriving in 3PW several months ago, and overachieved yet again with this upset victory in his first solo match in 3PW. Afterwards, a humiliated Matthews berated the newcomer, calling his win a fluke, and making the challenge for the December 18th rematch, with both men's 3PW career on the line. With adrenaline pumping and the fans reacting, Sabin agreed, and now both men have to face the threat of losing their very 3PW careers. Can Chris Sabin end the most successful run in 3PW history, or will Joey Matthews bring Sabin's 3PW life to an end...before it even really began? 3PW BRA & PANTIES MATCH: JASMIN ST. CLAIRE gets down and dirty with TALIA! Despite being the dominant female in 3PW, JASMIN ST. CLAIRE has a history of feeling threatened by any other woman that crosses her path. From Missy Hyatt to "Gorgeous" George Frankenstein, just about every female in 3PW's history know what it's like to be on Jasmin's bad side. But nobody...NOBODY...has ever raised the ire of St. Claire quite like TALIA. Is it because she is equally as hot as Jasmin? Maybe. Is it because she stole the heart of Tod Gordon from Jasmin? Maybe. Is it because the 3PW fans are just a little more receptive to her than Jasmin? Maybe it's all three reasons. After all, whether she was paying her dues as Gordon's "slavegirl", showing her elegant side alongside "Macho Man" STRIKER, or reuniting with the "Sugar Daddy", Talia has truly garnered a great deal of attention and support, even as Jasmin consistently tried to demean her all the while. More recently, St. Claire even sent her PITBULLS 2004 to attack Talia, seriously injuring her and taking her out of action for months. Now, 3PW presents an early X-mas (or should I say XXX-Mas) present to our fans, as Jasmin and Talia will finally get it on in a 3PW Bra & Panties match! Remember, we aren't like other wussy companies that make you wait all match to see some skin. In 3PW, we deliver with NO wait, as these two feisty females will START the match in nothing but Bra's & Panties! NO DISQUALIFICATION! CJ O' DOYLE vs. ROB ECKOS These days in 3PW, nobody has a bigger chip on their shoulder than ROB ECKOS. Labeled a pretty boy and a follower most of his career, Eckos seemed content to show off his abs while being pushed to the wayside by former mentor Joey Matthews, the fans...even oddball buddy STRIKER. In fact, it was his decision a few months ago to lighten up and join in on Striker's crowd-pleasing gimmick infringement shtick that gave Eckos the first big time cheers of his career, but when the fun resulted in embarrassing losses, something deep inside Rob Eckos finally snapped. Now, the goofiness is gone. Now, the friendship with Striker is gone. The pretty boy stuff, the shades...all gone, replaced by the NEW Rob Eckos. Intense. Focused. Hell-bent on proving just how dangerous he can be. CJ O' Doyle can certainly attest to that. Two months ago, he was coerced into an impromptu battle with Eckos (after his own match, no less) that not only resulted in a courageous loss, but a beatdown afterward. Last month, the rematch had a different winner, but same results, as Eckos was disqualified for blatantly hitting CJ between the eyes with the ring bell, and continued the assault yet again, this time on an unconscious O' Doyle. On December 18th, Eckos and O' Doyle meet again..this time, with no disqualifications. CJ has made 2004 a year to remember by surviving beatings from everyone from "Pitbull" Gary Wolf to Monsta Mack, but can even he match the violence that the NEW Rob Eckos will bring to the table? PLUS... NEW 3PW Commissioner BILL APTER will be in the house!...Last month, he got Tod Gordon out of office AND Suspended April Hunter for 60 days... what will happen on December 18th when the most active 3PW commissioner yet returns to the scene? Also scheduled to appear: CJ O’Doyle, Striker, Eckos, Double Trouble, The Blue Meanie, N8 Mattson The Pitbulls, and more!!! ****Card Subject To Change**** Tickets are available RIGHT NOW at: Noise Pollution 619 S. 4th St. (4th & South St.) Philadelphia, PA (215) 627 - 7246 Hall of Heroes Cherry Hill Mall Cherry Hill, NJ (856) 662 – 9329 Tony Luke’s Old Philly Style Sandwiches 39 E. thuganomics 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Main event should be interesting. It's the freaking main event of early Ring of Honor with SWB thrown in though, which is just f'n weird to me. Could be interesting too. And the loser leaves match has me thinking that Joey might be getting a WWE deal soon... or at least I can hope.
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 I dunno, I mean, I'll still go and all, but I am definitely getting a little tired of seeing the same faces. It's been the same basic crew since probably around April. A little variety would be nice.
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 3PW NOTES & NEWS INCLUDING HOW YOU CAN WIN FREE TICKETS TO THEIR NEXT SHOW by Mike Johnson @ 10:40:00 AM on 12/8/2004 Pro-Pain Pro Wrestling (3PW) began several new storylines at their last ECW Arena event including a main event push for Slyck Wagner Brown. At the last 3PW event, Brown was facing Low Ki and ended up losing after Ki chopped April Hunter and Brown was distracted while tending to her. Afterwards, Ki told Brown to make sure to keep his business and his pleasure separate. Later in the evening, Brown and Ki did a run-in on the main event Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles 3PW championship match, with Wagner doing Ki's bidding. This builds to a tag match on 12/18, which is probably the biggest match in Wagner's career as he's in there with three of the best in-ring performers in the United States today. Bill Apter debuted at the last show, replacing Tod Gordon as Commissioner, and to the surprise of the promotion, was turned heel by the crowd as they booed him. You can expect a big push for April Hunter in the next few months as she'll be working against a number of male competitors. Also on the last 3PW event was the start of a storyline involving Jack Victory and Rockin' Rebel, who team as Double Trouble here, where they have each lost singles matches when the other was unable to help the other. Striker will miss the 12/18 3PW event as he is scheduled to make his debut in Japan for the reorganized ZERO-ONE promotion. The promotion had a big angle planned for him, which obviously can't take place as scheduled now. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Who, in your opinion, will lose the Sabin/Matthews match?
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 I think Matthews, if only because Sabin has only been around for like two shows. That crowd will pop like crazy if Joey loses, but I predict he'd get a nice standing ovation on his way out too. Now, I wonder how they will fill up the time that Striker usually takes up? C'mon guys, gimme some Sandman.

1234-5678 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 3PW has announced tonight that their planned event for this Saturday, December 18th, at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will not take place. The show was scheduled to main evented by AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki & Slyck Wagner Brown, and a "Loser Leaves 3PW" match between Joey Matthews and Chris Sabin. Here is 3PW's press release on the situation: Due to a circumstance beyond our control, Saturday's show is being postponed. A family emergency has happened in Jasmin's family and she is en route to London, England to be by her mother's bed side. As hard as it is to have to call the show off, especially with the short notice, we hope you can understand the weight of the situation and keep Jasmin's mother in your thoughts. Tickets will be honored at the next 3PW event. Link
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 They seem to cancel a lot of shows. I understand Jasmin is booker, but couldn't they just have Tod Gordon run the backstage things while she is away. It is just one show, it's not like he would be taking over the company.
