gWIL Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Um didnt see one, so here discuss 1) Cruiserweight battle royal for title shot at Armageddon 2) Jesus vs. Charlie Haas 3) Kenzo and Dupree vs. RVD and Rey Misterio 4) Big Show vs. Mark Jindrak 5) Taker, Eddie, Booker vs. JBL, Orlando, and Bashams
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I was JUST about to start this thread. Thanks for beating me to the punch though.
JoeDirt Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I'm not expecting too much from this show, really...they REALLY need a good show to convince people to buy Armageddon, and I don't know if that's going to happen. I think Armageddon might end up down with No Mercy and Taboo Tuesday as far as PPV buys go. The main event is the only thing with a chance of drawing, and I don't know if it's going to be enough to get 200,000 buys.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 let's see if we can break last weeks record 7 pages. *reads spoilers*...Yes. Let's shoot for 2 pages instead.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I'm only going to watch the Cruiserweight Battle Royale...then re-organize my rosters in an old NBA Live game.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 ...you know what Smackdown needs. ...Jim Carrey stopping playing movie character, and becoming the next generation Andy Kaufman for wrestling shows. Him going against Torrie and such as Intergender champion...and then feuding with...I dunno...Chavo?

Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I guess those lightning-bolt punches are the only things Undertaker sells for.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 And we start the show with Layfield and The Cabinet going psycho on Taker.
Guest Askewniverse Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Jim Carrey stopping playing movie character, and becoming the next generation Andy Kaufman for wrestling shows. Him going against Torrie and such as Intergender champion Eternal Sunshine of the Blown Spots Mind?
JoeDirt Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 I have to admit I dig JBL with his cabinet. They should have given him an entourage a long time ago.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 JBL is the best worker of the bunch... take that for how good of a stable it is.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 JBL is the best worker of the bunch... take that for how good of a stable it is. Well, shouldn't it make sense for the leader of the group to be the best worker of the group?
JoeDirt Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Haha, JBL rips on affirmative action. Good interview by JBL. He's trying, you have to give him that.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 JBL is the best worker of the bunch... take that for how good of a stable it is. Well, shouldn't it make sense for the leader of the group to be the best worker of the group? JBL sucks in wrestling matches though. His only 2 good matches this year were brawls with Eddie Guerrero. I'm pointing out that he sucks, but he's still better than the other 3 (judging by the WWE work of the Bashams)
JoeDirt Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 They're really building up Taker as the "real" challenger in this match and not Eddie or Booker, aren't they?

Chavo Gurerrrrrrrrrreo fought Jaquiline twice, and Rene Dupree faught Torrie Wilson once.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 The Cruiserweights don't even get introductions except for Chavito?

JoeDirt Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Chavo and London should be teaming up on Kidman. I hate how they're not realistic about stuff.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Sad thing to think about: In WCW, there'd have been at least 20 cruiserweights for a battle royal.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Ricky Steamboat Jr. eliminated by...the guy who fucks Torrie Wilson.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Chavo and London should be teaming up on Kidman. I hate how they're not realistic about stuff. I could've sworn it was "Every Man For Himself" not "Every Face vs. Every Heel"
Guest Phenom Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Ricky Steamboat Jr. eliminated by...the guy who fucks Torrie Wilson. Don't remind me.

I could've sworn it was "Every Man For Himself" not "Every Face vs. Every Heel" You'd think the fact that London was put out for a few months by Kidman storyline wise would make him want some revenge when possible, but I guess not. He didn't even go after Kidman once in the match.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Who's the Village People reject...or it's Shannon Moore.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Oh my god! Funaki wins a match! Funaki wins a match! Funaki wins a match!

I could've sworn it was "Every Man For Himself" not "Every Face vs. Every Heel" Right...unlike how the first (1988) Royal Rumble ended up. FUNAKI FOR CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMP!
