I figure Kidman unseats Funaki at SD! this week and hopefully Funaki was just a transition champion for the Kidman/Akio/London/Chavo feud.

All the champions are faces... except for the World Champion. JBL is obviously retaining now, plus the fact the title never changes hands in 4-Ways.

JBL has always been going over and he should.

'Taker and Book don't have any right to be champion and Eddy; well he lost his chance and I'm thinking Vince doesn't trust him anymore.

Which is telling since Eddy and Benoit dropped the titles, Benoit has retained his spot at the upper card and is consistantly main eventing. While Eddy has bounced around the card.

^Give me a break.^

Eddie's "chance" worked until he started feuding with Bradshaw, and the rating started tanking. JBL's been a horrible draw.

I guess the only thing to do now is guess who will be the one to pin JBL and have the ref totally miss it.

Lol...they're doing this whole 'JBL just lost his puppy that was like a brother to him thing'.

Ok..crazy analogy...but JBL keeps looking at his cabinet...sort of sobbing...and sulking...and they look back at him with puppy dog eyes...lmao.

This 4 way kind of reminds me of the HIAC at Armageddon 2000, nobody thinks JBL can do it, pulls out the win anyway to major heel heat. I think this match could really legitimize his title reign if he's made to look like he can hang with the rest of them.

But the question is: Who would he next defend it against?

Show is a possibility if they're finally getting him away from Angle.

But who else besides Show?

EDIT: OK, forgot about Cena. But he has to find a way to get rid of the US title unless they're going the Warrior route with that.

That spot likely occurs with all three faces.

Besides, someone said Jindrak got pinned
Still, anytime the underdog wins a handicap match, especially when it's a 1 vs. 3 or 2 vs. 4 situation, the bigger team looks bad.

Even when the guy on the other side is about the same weight as the other three combined?

Three well built athletic men not be able to take out one guy regardless of his size is kind of sad. It probably won't hurt anyone in the long run but I've never been a fan of one guy single handedly taking out several.

If you're hoping JBL loses tonight, you're going to be really disappointed.

If you're hoping JBL isn't in the title picture for all of 2005, you're going to be really disappointed.

My suggestion is to start liking JBL or not watch Smackdown.

Its more or less just been made no DQ: Chimel has announced it as being anything goes.

reading Meltzer's PPV report and this past week's Observer, it looks like they are building towards Cena v JBL at WM for the title.

I think with Angle's neck the way it is they decided not to have him in the main event again.

Could we possibly see Angle vs. HBK and Taker/Kane vs. Heidenreich/Snitsky? It's quite possible...

If this and Orton-HHH is the main event, Wrestlemania better have one of the greatest undercards of all time, cause otherwise I won't be ordering this.

How exactly did Eddie lose his chance?

Eddy had problems handling the pressure of being the top name carrying the title and Vince publically said he didn't think less of Eddy because of it but you know honestly that Vince has to look at Eddy with a suspect eye now before thinking of handing him another reign.

Done.

The only reason I even read the results is the slim possibility that they'll take the belt off of him.

We've got Show at Rumble I'm guessing, then we've got No Way Out, I'd expect he won't actually defend it here and they'll be some kind of tag match leading up to Mania like there usually is and we have him vs Cena at Mania. Pure guess work, but it seems logical enough.

Well they won't have to worry about No Way Out as that's a Raw PPV anyway.

It's pretty clear that WWE doesn't trust putting Angle in a high spot title match with two straight years of having neck problems going into. I'm sure they want to get the "dream" HBK/Angle match NOW before they completely miss the boat.

Undertaker wanted a "classic" match at Mania and he won't get that with Kane and Snitsky. Maybe he should beg Vince to reconsider Heyman's Benoit Vs 'Taker idea again.

I had JBL/Cena written in for the WWE Title match since No Mercy...even when Angle and Taker were playing politics.

I believe it's a SD ppv again this year...isn't it?

And Backlash is going to be RAW again...right?

It is? When did this happen? Why would they have two Raw PPV's in a row with New Years Revolution (Raw) Rumble (Joint) then No Way Out as a Raw event, that makes no sense.

He's their best option. Everyone else is stale (Taker, Cena, Angle) or has shown they're not ready (Eddie)
