Oh man, I'm on drugs right now.

Tylenol. Yeah, that's right, even fucking TYLENOL can kill you if you take too much. As to exactly how much, well, that's the tricky part, as it depends on about a million different variables.

I don't like this thread anymore. According to his profile, Matt hasn't been on since an hour after that post. I don't know the guy or anything about him other than his posts here, but dieing because of an message board is really sad. What are his chances of living if he didn't go to the hospital?

Also, there's, like, three hours inbetween his two posts where he's thinking about doing it and saying he did it. Didn't anyone read his post and think "acetaminophin=bad?" I mean, I've never even done DXM, but I sure as hell know that you can't take anything with that in it.

It's not the boards fault and I'm not really blaming anyone. It's his fault and his stupidity, I mean, I thought everyone who had any interest whatsoever in DXM knew not to do what he did, but his last two posts are really depressing if he really is dead.

Besides, this board may not have killed him, but it could have saved him.

And he could be alive and I'm just getting upset about the death of someone I don't know for no reason.

There's multiple warnings about acetaminophen in this thread, even. I hope he's fine, yeah, but that's what happens when you screw around with drugs without knowing what you're doing. It's stupid.

It appears he posted his last message right after taking it, and I know he got the message within a few minutes of that. If he called the hospital within the hour (and if he didn't, he was just being stupid again), that's plenty of time. I wouldn't worry.

But then if he does die, we'll probably never have that confirmed.

What the... wow.

I certainly didn't expect to see this when I signed on today. I appreciate the concern and I'm sorry if I caused some people to worry, but I'm alive.

I read various reports of individuals who safely consumed the same exact thing I did. Also, I made sure to calculate the levels of DXM and acetaminophen I was taking in. I'm ingested a lot more acetaminophen in the past than I did yesterday. I'm not saying it's a good idea; not in the slightest. However, in my later teen years, I took a shitload of hydrocodone with acetaminophen and survived.

Back then, I was really depressed and didn't give a fuck if I died. I even chased the pills with a quarter gallon or more of vodka on more than one occasion. Really, this was nothing compared to that.

I actually had a really good trip that lasted approximately 6 hours. After I started to come down, fatigue set in heavily and I fell asleep, which is why i wasn't online at all. I feel fine today... still a little tired, with fleeting nauseous feelings, but otherwise, I'm good to go.

I probably won't robo-trip again for a while, and next time, it will be with an acetaminophen free formula.

So... how is everyone on this lovely June morning?

You had a "trip" with a mid-second plateau dose?

Erowid says that 4000 mg of acetaminophen per day is safe; you took about 7500.

Erowid's full of shit about a lot of stuff, too.

This reminds me of when someone passes out drunk around a bunch of fairly young kids who don't drink much. (I'm talking 17-18ish) They get all worried and "take care" of them, and wonder if they should call 911.

I mean, you definitely want to avoid the acetaminophen variety if you can, and it fucks up your liver, but it's not like it's going to cause instant death.

DXM makes you tired as fuck; it's not like death is the only reason someone wouldn't post after tripping.

Alcohol poisoning can cause instant death. Driving a car can cause instant death.

I'm just saying that when Matt Young doesn't post for a couple hours after taking DXM with acetaminophen, death isn't a very likely reason for his absence.

Probably not, but it was rather touching. If I had it to do over again, I would have started a Matt Young memorial tribute thread. If he croaked I would have been seen as sensitive and philanthropic, and if he didn't it would have been funny. I never actually calculated how much acet he took, either.

DXM usually makes me stay up for days, actually. That's one of the reasons I pretty much quit doing high doses, that and how it destroys my libido.

Last night I got pretty fucked up for the first time in weeks, possibly months. No, probably weeks, actually. Either way, I had fun at my work's christmas party, although was pretty upset at my Secret Santa gift (Full Metal Jacket in fullscreen, when I just bought/got a widescreen HDTV for Christmas, what the fuck.. thankfully I already have all of Kubrick's films on my PC so all I need now is an S-Video cable, and that's that until I get the Kubrick box set).

Oh yeah, this is about drugs and alcohol. I don't think there's anything else I can say other than it was interesting how some people you don't really know all that well outside of work can act and especially what they say when under the influence. That's all.
