The Central Valley (specifically, San Joaquin and the Fresno area) Not everything in California revolves around LA, you know. Well that's why you mention it as the Central Valley then. Usually anyone from California will tell you the Valley is usually a reference to San Fernando Valley regardless of the countless other valleys there are in the state.
