Cards have two great young WRs. I could see Denny Green grabbing Jason Cambell if he doesn't take a running back.

I think he should take Chris Rix with the no. 5 pick.

One more thing for the Eagles, is they need to draft a backup QB and not one of the Holmgren disciple sixth round project types. They need to use a third or fourth rounder on a Greene/White/LeFors level player.

I'd heard Jammal Brown would go in the Top 10. I doubt he'd be Robert Gallery #2 and go really high but I heard Top 10.

Question. If you have a really good team like The Patriots? When they draft someone are they more drafting for the future down the road as opposed to right now like some of the lower teams are doing? B/c teams like The Pats may just have everyone they need right now.

Still though I think The Eagles need to draft a good wideout. I mean it wouldn't be smart to do everything in your power to try and get Mike Williams. But get someone good to compliment TO and Westbrook.

I'm not so sure that the Dolphins are going to draft RB. With all the rumors of Edge or Alexander possibly going to Miami I think it's best to wait on that. If they don't end up getting one of those two (also, Travis Henry) I would love for them to draft Benson.

Dama, if I were in charge of the Pats, I would trade some picks for next year, the year after, etc... They are pretty much set atm, a big play WR would be nice, but totally unnecessary.

The Pats have a few holes that need to be filled ...

- their age at LB has to be a concern

- they could use a taller, more physical wide-out

- their secondary is made up of 'getting old' (Harrison, Poole), 'still too young (Samuel, Wilson, Gay, Moreland), and 'most likely leaving' (Law), so I wouldn't mind seeing them pick up another DB

I guess I'm one of the few who is not sold on Braylon Edwards, sure he'll probably go high in the draft but Michigan wide recievers for the most part do not have a good history in the NFL and I really dont see Edwards being any different.

Is that the order he thinks they are going to go in? Cedric Benson #1 and Ronnie Brown #2? I didn't even think Benson would go Top 10 b/c he's such an underrated performer sometimes(notice i didn't say all the time).

Who is going to be #1 this year?

I agree with Vern... what position comes first depends on whether San Fran keeps the pick or trades it.

If San Fran picks, it could be any position EXCEPT a running back. The Niners already have Barlow and another running back, so that's one of the few positions they don't need to fill.

Bengals need to draft Cody or Roth.

I believe Williams will be impressive in the combines and Oakland will pick him up.

alot of RB's out there this year.

I could see them taking Mike Williams since they seem to like Tim Rattay at QB. they could even trade down to do it.

Cleveland needs to take a QB and cut Garcia loose.

I'd draft a QB too if I was San Fran...however you know their front office now is filled with morons. Morons that like Tim Rattay.

I was thinking more in terms of if SF trades their pick away. I can see someone trading up to grab Benson or Arrington or something stupid like that. Maybe Chicago (because.... THOMAS JONES IS NOT THE ANSWER), however I hope not.

My team (Cleveland) must draft offensive linemen, and they must draft them early not late round reaches/experiments.

From what I've heard and read this is a strong draft for offensive linemen. They should draft LT in round 1 and a G in round 2. They could also use a game changing play maker on the defense, but offensive line is more important at this point.

Taking a QB in the first 3 rounds would be a mistake for them. We've done the draft QB high and throw him into the fire with no protection thing, so now is the time to get the protection before getting the QB. Besides, Garcia would be fine for another year if we get a coaching staff that will let him play his game. The old coaching staff tried to turn him into a pocket passer, which made no sense.

you speak the truth about the browns...shore up that O line cause they have serviceable runners and just need to protect the qb they have

i think they may end up cutting garcia though and trying to go with holcomb and mccown..i dont think that they should but heard that rumor

I hope Mike Williams. We had a highly regarded WR come out of Michigan a few years ago by the name of David Terrell... so that soured me on Michigan receivers.

On that note allow me to reiterate what I have said many times about UofM players in general. They rarely have a huge amount of success in the NFL. The reason for that is simple: They usually have such a great team that the individual players end up looking better than they really are. Running backs run better behind thier above average O-lines, QBs throw better to above average WRs, etc...

Some more underclassmen entering the draft.

RB Ryan Moats of Louisiana Tech

RB Eric Shelton of Louisville

ILB Odell Thurman of Georgia

I'm glad those rare individuals who do are on the Pats(Tom Brady and Ty Law).

But again, great team, not necessarily great individuals.

Ty Law is a shut down corner and has over 60 career picks I believe.

Brady just wins, and has won games in the final moments of games several times.

These are great players.
