Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 1> Okay so what were the problems (in a nutshell) between Dana Carvey and Mike Myers on the Wayne World movie sets? 2> Why did Liono grow while in the space pod (while keeping the mind of a child) but WillyKit and WillyKat did not grow? (Thundercats) 3> What game is the Egg plant Wizard from on Captain N: Game Master?
Guest Fook Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 3) Kid Icarus. He was the final boss.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 4> I'm also struggling to remember a cartoon (I thought it was Captain N, but upon researching it appears not) about a group of superheros that includes a Gladiator/Barbarian/He-man type character.... I seem to recall him having blond hair, bronzed skin and a sword, but not much else.
starvenger Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 2> Why did Liono grow while in the space pod (while keeping the mind of a child) but WillyKit and WillyKat did not grow? (Thundercats) Well, Lion-O was a cub at the time he went into the pod. It's implied that Wily-Twins have reached full maturity by the time they leave Thunderra, but their Cat genus dicatate that they still look young. Actually, this is a problem I have with the Thundercats comic from Wildstorm, as they portray them as immature kits when that's entirely untrue.
Richard Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 1. Dana had ideas for the movies, but Mike didn't want to use them.
bob_barron Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Basically Dana and Mike had a lot of different ideas for how Wayne's World should go and squabbled often. Dana also doesn't think he gets enough credit for the movie

bob_barron Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Because it made tons of money, spawned catchphrases, made Myers' career and is beloved by millions
starvenger Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Because it made tons of money, spawned catchphrases, made Myers' career and is beloved by millions So I Married An Axe Murderer is still better though...
bob_barron Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I never got into that movie- Phil Hartman's cameo is hilarious though

I do! Garth's contribution to the film is minimal. No surprise since Carvey is an uninteresting boob for the most part.
