Mole 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 would anyone feel comfortable with molestomp being in charge of their potential freedom or incarceration? You know, I think Cancer is Banky. Or Banky is Cancer. She was the only one to call me molestomp. Didn't you call yourself that? Yeah, but after I changed it from molestomp to Mole she kept on calling me molestomp. And she was the only person to do so.

Guest CronoT Report post Posted January 8, 2005 I want to get called to jury duty for two reasons: 1- I get paid to be a juror by the system. 2- I get doubletime from work (almost 25 dollars an hour) for an eight hour shift on a day of jury duty. Wal-Mart pays you 8 hours of normal time when you serve on a jury duty. Sam Walton strongly believed in "doing your civic duty," and since the reason that most people skip out on jury duty is because they have to take off work, and lose money, he decided that Wal-Mart employees would get paid to go to jury duty. Cartman 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 I got picked for a murder trial 2 years ago. I looked forward to the opportunity to send some obviously guilty kid to prison for the rest of his life, but unfortunately I was only a temporary contractor at my job and they wouldn't pay for my time off. The pay from the court would in no way cover my living expenses so I had to ask out. oh well, since then I am now a full time employee and they do pay for jury duty time so if I get picked again i'm all over it. The Dames 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 Mole, it didn't sound like you took it too seriously anyway. You would have been dismissed eventually. Dames

Mole 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I originally got jury duty in the summer, sometime in JulyI think. I showed up in shorts and sandals, so they sent me away. I got another notice for late August, but I told them I was at school so I couldn't go. I set up the date for January 7th then.
