Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 8, 2005 There are a TON of asians at this game. I never realised how full of asians the Seattle area was. Is this all because of Ichiro or have they always been there?
MrRant 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2005 There is a good size Vietnamese population in Seattle mixed in with Japanese and Chinese.

Is this all because of Ichiro or have they always been there? Yeah, Ichiro single-handidly caused a massive migration of Asians to Seattle.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Am I being punished for something? This might be one of the worst playoff games in NFL history. Fortunately the chat is taking my mind off things.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Mr. "We're gonna win" has the game in his hands. I can't believe this crappy game might be headed to overtime.

Guest Smues Report post Posted January 9, 2005 It's over it's over. Actually it wasn't THAT long of a game. 3-3 1/2 hours. but it felt like 7.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 The Saints would have beaten either of those losers.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 And the game ends on a Seahawks dropped pass. Â Fitting.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I hated both teams equally, but it was sad to see Holmgren's face. Those Seahawks receivers may be the worst in history. Not because they're so bad, but because they show equal parts of brilliance and futility they're fucking disgusting. He needs to cut them all.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted January 9, 2005 The Saints would have beaten either of those losers. They're just as inconsistent as the Seahawks receivers. Â I doubt it.
NYU 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Christ.....really now. If you're a professional football player in the NFL, you NEED to make that catch. You can't let something like that just bounce off your hands. Hasselbeck did impress me near the end however. Â Either way, I thought this game really picked up in the second half. It certainly wasn't a classic, but I wouldn't even go as far as to say it was terrible.....
Guest Smues Report post Posted January 9, 2005 The Saints would have beaten either of those losers. I have to agree. Might have been a better game too.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Wow. Two dropped passes on the final drive, one on fourth down and in the endzone. Way to go, Seahawks. Â I wonder how the Vikings are going to top that one tomorrow.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 That was a good game to watch the last two minutes of. I think it had to be blatantly obvious to everyone that the Seahawks would blow it as soon as it got to crunch time. Â And tomorrow I get to go back over to Washington and laugh at all the Seahawks fans too. Of course, I won't be able to laugh too loud unless the Jets pull it out tonight. Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I feel bad for Holmgren and Hasselbeck, the recievers killed them. Â And it was nice to see Shaun Alexander show up /sarcasm
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I have a feeling that the Rams are going to get crushed if they have to go to Philly next week.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I hated both teams equally, but it was sad to see Holmgren's face. Those Seahawks receivers may be the worst in history. Not because they're so bad, but because they show equal parts of brilliance and futility they're fucking disgusting. He needs to cut them all. They aren't cutting Jackson who dropped the most since they just resigned him last year. Koren possibly traded I could see. But all the recievers are quite good when they catch the stupid ball. Hasselbeck put the balls in their hands they just neglected to hold on to it. Â I'm surprised nothing was thrown towards Rice at all. Â Also, playing 5 yards back on the STL WRs when it's 3rd and 4 makes no sense.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I actually feel quite the opposite. The Rams can handle the Eagles, if Martz doesn't keep them away from winning. As we all know, at times the Rams look great and at times horrible. Having no o-line hurts quite a bit against the Eagles defense though.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Nah Martz will find a way to blow the game. If Dorsey Levens was able to run all over the Rams defense in that JV game 2 weeks ago, how are they going to be able to handle Westbrook? I think the Eagles pass defense will be much stiffer than Seattle was this week. Never mind the fact that its probably going to be in the 30s next Sunday and dome teams have a history of playing shitty in cold weather.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 9, 2005 You also neglect the fact that the Eagles' starters haven't played in about a month, while the Rams have some momentum going into the game. Â The Eagles would still probably win, but I doubt it'd be a blowout.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Eagles have something to prove. The Rams are a horrible road team. Only the inept Seahawks could lose to them on the road. Â In typical Mike Patrick fashion. He though it was absord anyone would think Seattle should fire Mike Holmgren. What exactly has he done in 6 years to warrant keeping his job?
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I think its going to be closer than most will imagine(Eagles will probably be about a 7-10 point favorite in the opening line,if its over 10 take the Rams.) But I have a feeling that a weaker NFC is why they rested the starters, they should be able to get the kinks worked out in the first half and be roaring to go. Besides if anyone could feel antsy about playing starters in meaningless games, it's Philly(Westbrook last year, Owens this year.) Â If you've read Bill Simmons' "Rules To Gambling On The NFL Playoffs", just remember the rule about coaching matchups. Andy Reid vs. Mike Martz: I'll take Reid, you can have Martz....who's feeling confident out of both of us? Factor in the home-field advantage and the fact that the Rams won't be playing a team that just screws up every opportunity they get(Seattle), and I think it'll be a convincing win. Â From what I've been hearing in the papers here in the Philly area is that the Eagles are just a little bit annoyed at the Rams beating their chests about winning that Monday night game when it basically was a give-away game, they're probably ready to start the playoffs now. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Well, as the rule goes with all teams that get a bye or don't play for a while, if they do well the "extra rest" helped them out, but if they don't play well, they're "rusty". Â I'm happy that any of the games next week are going to be much better than the games we've been dealt this week, at least in the NFC. Â There's a possibility of St. Louis/Philly and Green Bay/Atlanta or Minnesota/Philly and St. Louis/Atlanta, dependent on tommorrow's game.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 I doubt Minnesota's winning tomorrow, so I'm basically assuming that the Rams are coming to Philly.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 How is St. Louis/Philly going to be a good game? The Eagles will show their typical early-round dominance, and they'll probably beat St. Louis 34-10. At least today, the game was close, and we all got to enjoy the Seahawks' collapse.
