Those Seahawks receivers may be the worst in history. Not because they're so bad, but because they show equal parts of brilliance and futility they're fucking disgusting. He needs to cut them all.

You can't let something like that just bounce off your hands. Hasselbeck did impress me near the end however. Â Either way, I thought this game really picked up in the second half. It certainly wasn't a classic, but I wouldn't even go as far as to say it was terrible.....

I think it had to be blatantly obvious to everyone that the Seahawks would blow it as soon as it got to crunch time. Â And tomorrow I get to go back over to Washington and laugh at all the Seahawks fans too. Of course, I won't be able to laugh too loud unless the Jets pull it out tonight.

They aren't cutting Jackson who dropped the most since they just resigned him last year. Koren possibly traded I could see. But all the recievers are quite good when they catch the stupid ball. Hasselbeck put the balls in their hands they just neglected to hold on to it. Â I'm surprised nothing was thrown towards Rice at all. Â Also, playing 5 yards back on the STL WRs when it's 3rd and 4 makes no sense.

As we all know, at times the Rams look great and at times horrible. Having no o-line hurts quite a bit against the Eagles defense though.

If Dorsey Levens was able to run all over the Rams defense in that JV game 2 weeks ago, how are they going to be able to handle Westbrook? I think the Eagles pass defense will be much stiffer than Seattle was this week. Never mind the fact that its probably going to be in the 30s next Sunday and dome teams have a history of playing shitty in cold weather.

Â In typical Mike Patrick fashion. He though it was absord anyone would think Seattle should fire Mike Holmgren. What exactly has he done in 6 years to warrant keeping his job?
therealworldschampion Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 I think its going to be closer than most will imagine(Eagles will probably be about a 7-10 point favorite in the opening line,if its over 10 take the Rams.) But I have a feeling that a weaker NFC is why they rested the starters, they should be able to get the kinks worked out in the first half and be roaring to go. Besides if anyone could feel antsy about playing starters in meaningless games, it's Philly(Westbrook last year, Owens this year.) Â If you've read Bill Simmons' "Rules To Gambling On The NFL Playoffs", just remember the rule about coaching matchups. Andy Reid vs. Mike Martz: I'll take Reid, you can have Martz....who's feeling confident out of both of us? Factor in the home-field advantage and the fact that the Rams won't be playing a team that just screws up every opportunity they get(Seattle), and I think it'll be a convincing win. Â From what I've been hearing in the papers here in the Philly area is that the Eagles are just a little bit annoyed at the Rams beating their chests about winning that Monday night game when it basically was a give-away game, they're probably ready to start the playoffs now.

Â I'm happy that any of the games next week are going to be much better than the games we've been dealt this week, at least in the NFC. Â There's a possibility of St. Louis/Philly and Green Bay/Atlanta or Minnesota/Philly and St. Louis/Atlanta, dependent on tommorrow's game.
