Jets vs Chargers AFC WildCard Game 1

Recommended Posts

I would have kicked it there. You get about a 50/50 chance of winning the game on the spot, and the difference between a missed FG and the punt is only a 22 yards.

Also, if the Chargers do get a TD here, the Jets probably won't have time to get a score of their own in regulation.

Not that Brees is likely to lead a game tying TD drive in the playoffs anyway, but I think the kick is the right call there.

Damn, I'm getting some big time deja vu here. Montana did the exact same thing against James Madison a few weeks ago to lose the I-AA Championship.

Well, they were down three instead of ahead, but it was the same stupid roughing the passer on 4th down inside the 10.

If the Jets lose this game I say Herm is fired before next weekend.

Fighting on the sidelines with another coach

Not knowing he didn't have enough players on the field 2 times in a row

His players being undisciplined and dumb in key moments

All things that will get him a pink slip

God damn it, this just pisses me off so much. The game was fucking over, and then we have dipshit hitting Brees in the helmet.

If Doug Brien hits that FG at the start of the game none of this matters. Keep that in mind too.

If the Jets lose, Barton should avoid going home for awhile. I'd be afraid of getting killed.
