We usually get to the Linc at around 9 AM, break out the stereos, the grill, the keg, the beer pong table, the football and encourage lots of bystanders to join us in our celebrations. This will no doubt be a tremendous day as we celebrate the countdown to seeing Randy Moss' 1 week of "buzz" destroyed on the national level. Yay! Anyhoo, who's gonna be at the Linc Sunday? They beat a shitty Packer team. The media is just tyring to make it seem like they have a chance. The Vikings team SUCKS. Mind you, its their 3rd road game in a row, and they lost to the REDSKINS to start off the trip. Once they play a real defense and a quarterback who doesn't throw 4 picks...I think the "media" will end their silly talk about Moss and wear he wipes his ass. Once again: Vikings look really good last week. Their "defense" was simply a bunch of wide-open interceptions from a way past prime Brett Fav-re. Their offense was against the uber-poor Packer defense. I love how fans think it does when it doesn't. we went to the states for football and the opposing team since it was literally in their backyard had about 500 students doing the whole "distract" the other team deal since we stayed in a hotel instead of commucting on the day of the game. we all just laughed at the idiot fans and mooned them and such and mocked them. We proceeded to win the championship by about 17 pts showing no effects of the idiot honking "distracting" fans. Most players sleep through it. He's as great with his pics as he was with his playing career I may be going to the game on Sunday, I'll probably find out on tickets tomorrow or Saturday. And since I'm off Monday thanks to the holiday and the people I go with have a Winnebago with burgers, ribs and a shitload of beer......oh it'll be a fun day. It's also a good thing that you'll be out there early. Try arriving at noon and you'll have to deal with the retarded Philadelphia police and their "traffic controlling" abilities. The lots will probably start to fill up around 9, but I agree with you about the getting to drunk to enjoy the game thing. It's always amazing to me when guys spend a ton of cash to go to a game, then proceed to get smashed and miss the majority of it. I'd recommend getting down there around 10. That gives you time to get set up and enjoy yourself, but not tire yourself out. I'd also suggest that you stop by the WIP tent.
