And this year's Emmy's will be missing the usual Friend/Fraiser in its slot and the next year it loses Everyone Loves Raymond. Voters will have to *gasp* nominate something new.

Lost is new. I think it didn't win because it's right in the middle of the 1st season. I dont think the voters felt comfortable giving it to them on the strength of the first 10 episodes.
