God forbid we support free speech here when it doesnt go along with certain people's personal beliefs. Read up on con law, my friend. But I just wanted to mention two things, since you mentioned free speech: 1.) As this is a public messageboard which is owned & operated by private individuals rather than the government, you essentially have ZERO free speech rights. Every single word you post is subject to the authority of the moderators. 2.) Even assuming you did have free speech rights, remember that there is no such thing as complete freedom of speech, as certain types of speech - and a specific example is discussing the possible assassination of someone, particularly the President - isn't protected as a matter of public policy. Congrats to FM for being stupid enough to skip merrily down the path of speech which isn't protected at all in our society.....you expect me to feel sympathy when he gets punished for it? That being said, I don't support the ban, but I understand it. Granted, he tried to weakly flame me when I was simply calling a spade a spade and said his comment was indeed fucktarded. It'd be kind of interesting to see just what sort of effect this has and how many students participate. However, in my area of PA we're getting blasted with snow, so many college classes may end up being cancelled because of the weather. KKK: I noticed plenty of delays and cancellations in your area. They calling for more tonight? As for FM, why are we still debating this? Just ban the guy from this folder, and reinstate him elsewhere. There, problem solved. Fine by me. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 I'm not sure. I think so. Problem is not that much snow has fallen, it's just the roads aren't treated and people can't drive.
