How would they profit more by not telling people they had a cure?

A 25-year old can live 20 years and pay $500 a month in prescription costs, which is about $120,000 over a long period of time, not including his health insurance premium and office co-pays, or he can get an AIDS vaccine for what I would imagine would be less than that.

 

You'll never be wrong underestimating the ethical standards of the health care field. I've worked in it five years and can testify first hand.

In the US. In Canada that is $120000 that health care no longer has to pay. If there was a cure, there is no way it would be kept underwraps. The government would save millions of dollars if they had a cure.

If I had a cure for AIDS, fuck Canada, I'd market it to Africa and Asia, where millions and millions of people die from it every year. The conspiracy theories are bullshit, cuz there's simply too much money to be made for whoever invents a cure (or vaccine).

It would leak. There are too many powerful parties that would be interested in a cure. This is bigger than US Drug Companies. No matter how corrupt they might be, they wouldn't be able to keep it from coming out.

Unless the cure was found by American doctors (which it most likely would be) and the government privately paid them not to reveal the cure to anyone outside of the US.

OK, in response to everyone, my comments came off pretty dumb. I didn't mean to say "all black people" are like that. It's a very vocal minority that are discrediting black Americans a great deal. But still, the fact that even a small portion of black people think white people gave them AIDS on purpose is pretty ridiculous.

 

I wish we could just get off the whole black vs white thing in this country. We should be way beyond that point. Personally, I'm worried more about radical Muslims trying to blow us up than who is supposedly giving whom AIDS at this point.

A small portion of whites think that interacial dating is only a plot by blacks to soil the pure white heritage. A VERY small persentage, and the fact that this "study" came up with numbers that large is ridiculous. It doesn't even make fucking sense. "White gave us Aids so that we would be killed off....lets not use condoms and get us some AIDS."

 

That tripe that Bill Cosby has been spewing is just another rich person saying that the only reason people are poor is because they don't work hard. Fuck Bill Cosby and anyone else that says that bullshit it true. Bottomline, there are droves of whites on welfare...more than blacks.
