Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 So who's taking Teddy's job? Harvey Whippleman?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 So who's taking Teddy's job? Harvey Whippleman? Stephanie has been off TV long enough..
Guest Teckneek Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Well I think after that its safe to say that Cena vs. JBL at Wrestlemania 21 is all but confirmed. And like I predicted A LONG TIME AGO, Orlando Jordan will challange Cena for the United States Championship at NWO, and Cena will loose it with interferance from JBL. Then at WM21, itll be JBL vs Cena for the WWE championship, and Big Show vs Orlando Jordan for the US championship--I gurantee.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 That match was better than any Jindrak match has a right to be.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Tom Brady's Grandma died..... well there's a story to pounce on for the 7 hour pregame on Sunday
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 They should have a match over the dry cleaning bill!
sluggo Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I can't wait for the spoilers for Raw tonight
Tawren Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Rey/Jindrak was very good for a short TV match. Good power vs speed motif established from the start with Rey having to get creative to lead the corner. Jindrak was very good here with a nice counter to the 619, and then his segment beating on Rey was very well done. The kip up was a nice spot that fit the match - he has control, he is cocky, he is the big powerful jerk, he hasn't a care in the world. The kicks to the legs to get Jindrak down was smart and well done - it didn't take just one kick, it took several. And then Rey uses the headscissors into the turnbuckle to get Jindrak out of it for the rollup after the headscissors attempt to escape being caught in the 619 attempt earlier had failed. Â Very good match, in the *** range. Easily Jindrak's best and more proof that Rey is still one of the best wrestlers going.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 At least it wasn't a Japanese Shampoo commercial    I wonder if Edge will tape a sequel on Monday?
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 So a Cowboy, a Russian, a Iranian, and Motormouth and a roid monkey made the HOF.... no complaints.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Mr Wonderful Iron Shiek Volkolf Bob Orton Jimmy Hart  ..  Bleh
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Hogan's will be annonced 4 weeks before WM I gather
tbondrage99 Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Anyone else have the feeling that Bob Orton is only there because of his son?
Guest Phenom Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Mr. Wonderful = Chris Masters Bob Orton = JBL Iron Sheik = Muhammad Hassan Nicholi Volkof = Rene Dupree  Who's to compare with the Mouth of the South?
Tawren Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Handicap match was fun. Not on the level of Rey/Jindrak or even Angle/Nunzio, but fun and did a good job of helping establish Show as a monster, giving JBL more reason to fear him. Ending was very well done, even if the dumbass crowd wouldn't be quiet for Show's "shhhh". The stopping of the chairshot, the turnaround, and then the nonchalant punch was perfect and came out of nowhere. And of course, huge ass motherfucker chokeslam to finish it. Â Good for what it was with a neat finish.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Mr Wonderful Iron Shiek Volkolf Bob Orton Jimmy Hart  ..  Bleh 1. Made money with Hogan 2. Made Money with Hogan 3. Made money with Hogan 4. Made money with Hogan 5. Made money with Savage   What classic matches would you pick?
Spaceman Spiff Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Show vs. Bashams was pretty "meh", but I thought the spot w/ the chair towards the end was pretty cute. 1 Basham almost hit the other, then turned around and had the chair punched into his face. That got a laugh out of me. Â I also like Jindrak faking the 3rd elbow drop before gyrating.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 How did Kelly Clarkston get stuck with those crappy artists?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Mr. Wonderful = Chris Masters Bob Orton = JBL Iron Sheik = Muhammad Hassan Nicholi Volkof = Rene Dupree  Who's to compare with the Mouth of the South? Davari the one time on RAW when he was at Ringside shouting during Hassan's match reminded me of Jimmy Hart, even more had he used a Microphone..
Conspiracy_Victim Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Mr. Wonderful = Chris Masters Bob Orton = JBL Iron Sheik = Muhammad Hassan Nicholi Volkof = Rene Dupree  Who's to compare with the Mouth of the South? Daivari maybe? He's about the only pure manager around nowadays. And he yells nonstop so it fits. He needs a megaphone though.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Well..we know Taker is gonna get stuck in Kane/Taker vs Heidi/Snitsky at WM, so if he wins this, Angle probably beats him in Rd 2. Â Angle vs Cena in the final?
Conspiracy_Victim Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 "French Tickler" tights = ratings
Guest Phenom Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 I've just realized how low the post-count is for this thread. Sad.
cbacon Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Are there brackets for this tournament?
