Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 (edited) No subliminal_animal run-ins this time. I will answer every question in this thread until I tire of it or people stop asking. EDIT: This thread ceases to be about asking me questions on page seven, so you might not want to bother. Edited February 14, 2005 by Incandenza
godthedog 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 i thought about getting jay-z's 'the blueprint' today, but the only copy of it i could find was for $20 at tower. is it really THAT good? would my $20 be well spent?
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Recommend me some Kinks albums. I asked in my music thread, but then a new page started, so it's lost in the shuffle. Also, I thought you didn't feel like starting a new thread.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 No single disc album is worth $20. Also, I feel The Blueprint is a tad overrated, but still worthwhile. You'd be better off with Reasonable Doubt or The Black Album, if you haven't tried either of those already.

Also, I thought you didn't feel like starting a new thread. Re: the Kinks Something Else. Mostly mellow, kinda summery...my favorite Kinks album. The Village Green Preservation Society. Acoustic-based like SE, but far more up tempo. "Picture Book"—which was recently used in some car commercial (at least I think it was a car commercial—is so good. Arthur. Bit more rockin' than the other albums I mentioned. Also more varied in sound. Contains "Victoria," which would make my list of ten favorite songs were I ever to bother making one. Re: a new thread. I meant I didn't feel like starting a new thread to express my recent dissatisfaction with this folder. So I didn't.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Have you seen the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse? If so is it worth my time to rent it on PPV?
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Hey, people who read this thread, feel free to ask me non-music related questions. The last time I seriously did one of these threads, it turned very music-heavy, which I think turned a lot of people away.

Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Have you seen the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse? If so is it worth my time to rent it on PPV? I have no idea what kind of movies you enjoy, but if you're considering watching that RE, I'm betting you and I have very little common ground re film, much less anything else. In other words, I haven't seen it, so I don't know. In slightly related news, I'm totally in love with Jean Seberg after watching Breathless. Most charming, cold, heartless bitch ever. Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 13, 2005 I enjoy zombie films. The original Dawn of the Dead being the best of the crop. There's nothing on TV tonight anyways except for The Natural starring Robert Redford and I've seen that a million times.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 From what you've seen of me here, do you think my love of the Spice Girls, Full House and Harry Potter make me less of a man, or am I a strong enough character that it merely comes off as quirky? I got Full House season one today. Oh man, is it sweet.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Is healthy living overrated ? Not really. Back when I exercised regularly (the place I currently live lacks a gym), I always enjoyed a good workout. I've never been much for eating healthily, though. I'm not much of an eater, but I tend to lean towards greasy hamburgers and whatnot. Then there's my love of booze and my increasing fondness for smoking. KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Is "Taking Lives" any good? Angelina Jolie is naked in it, which is worth ** right off the bat, but is the other hour and 15 minutes worth it?
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Its a $3.99 rent for 24hrs. With Digital Cable here you can order a new movie for $4 and watch it as much as you want for 24hrs.

Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Meh, if its only $3.99 and you just want to kill some time i'd say get it. It's not brilliand (RE:A) but it is fun.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Hey Inc, whats the best dressing for a sandwich? Only recently have I come to enjoy things on my sandwich other than the basic meats and cheese, so I'm not well-versed in this field. However, I fucking adore honey mustard. Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Is "Taking Lives" any good? Angelina Jolie is naked in it, which is worth ** right off the bat, but is the other hour and 15 minutes worth it? Haven't seen it. Haven't seen very many movies from the last couple of years, which is a shame. I think my girlfriend is taking me to one tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Anyway, on the subject of Angelina Jolie, I used to think she was the hottest woman on the planet until she got heroin skinny and started making out with her brother at the Oscars. Is she still frightening? I haven't watched Entertainment Tonight in ages, so I dunno.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 No, ever since she broke it off with Billy Bob and started adopting Asian kids, she's become relatively normal and hot again. She also gets naked in 90% of her movies now.

Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Which regular board member is most likely to have a meltdown and snap ? Matt Young. Extremely earnest up until recently, when he decided to adopt a tough guy persona and made allusions to murdering little girls. Or I think that's what happened. I rarely read threads.
