so i was thinking of taking my gf to hitch monday (since its a romantic comedy) and i wanted to know who here has seen it and what they thought. I have read mostly positive reviews so I am actually pretty excitted to see it

My roomate told me to miss it, but I think I would of done so anyway.

Miss if it weren't for Smith and James. James was pimping it as a buddy comedy on Letterman, but the two are together probably about 25 minutes total out of the over two hour movie.

 

It's an interesting story, but the end is so cliche for these types of flicks that it felt almost like a joke. Smith and James have great chemistry together, though, which is why their pairing was such a minor subplot in the grand scheme of things.

If you have to pick a date movie, take HITCH.

Your choices are that or Wedding Date and Wedding Date isn't worth the gas it takes to get to the movies, let alone the price of admission.

Horrible movie.

Hitch is a good movie, I actually went to see it last night with my fiance and a friend of ours. All three of us enjoyed the movie - I was initially weirded out because the two guys were actually all gung-ho to see it, you know, being a romantic comedy and all, but the boys really enjoyed it, and so did I.

 

It's a sweet and funny movie - perfect for Valentine's Day, or just a regular date movie. The ending is a little cliched, but it's just really an endearing movie. Kevin James is freaking adorable in it.

Everyone I know who has seen it says it's two thumbs up. I may have to go check it out.
