Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2005 You're a hipster in training, you know. Oh hell no. You're my boy and all, but hell no. I'm afraid you're going to have to wear a different style of glasses then.

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2005 On the other hand, if you learn to play an instrument you can be in my band. When we break into our banjo-led country rendition of "I Think We're Alone Now" there'll be no questions as to where your loyaties lie.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2005 Ok, hipster. Stay away from checkered pants at all costs then. Yipes, checkered pants. Unless they were purple and black. That'd be awesome. I could beatbox for your band. I'm already slated to be my friends' band's entire rhythm section.
Guest Moses The Monkey Report post Posted March 8, 2005 Now that we're all clear on the British stereotypes, can someone please define "hipster" and "scenester"? I don't think Georgia has these people, atleast not the part I'm in. And I see these words tossed around this forum all the time. There's a third word used often that's similar, I think, though it's not coming to my head.
Guest Undertow Report post Posted March 14, 2005 Yea, I dont live in England either. Emo kids are pretty silly though. Refer to one of them as Kaptain Kirtins. And what exactly is a "hipster" or "scenester?"
