Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 26, 2005 All you Antoine Walker haters can go fuck yourself. Double-Double in his return. Delonte West looks to be something special too after tonight.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Another trade that seems to have been overlooked: Steve Smith returns to Miami for Malik Allen to Charlotte. I know Smith isn't what he once was, but he can still make big shots. As a Hawk, he also had a habit of making the Pacers his personal bitches.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Pacers spanked lebron and the cavs. Indy playing pretty good. Also Deee-Troit is spanking the Lakers. If this continues to the end it'll essentially be blowout #6 in a row (technically the NY game wasnt a blowout b/c of some garbage time scoring NY after Det pulled the starters, but for all intents it was). Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Yeah Detroit is playing championship-level basketball at the moment, playing like they were last season, using tough defense and team chemistry to win. Quite frankly, with all the competition in the West, I'm happy just to see the Lakers make the playoffs this year. It's going to take a while for that team to gel together, but at least they're playoff-worthy. I think LA can manage 40-50 wins when all is said and done, especially with the shakeup in Sacramento. Probably end up clinching the 5th or 6th spot, depending on how well Houston keeps playing.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 They can definitely get 40 wins, but 50 might be hard. They'd have to go 22-7 for the rest of the year to obtain that. But like you said, Sacramento screwed themselves up, and also, Memphis looks to be slipping lately.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Well the way I figured it was that the Lakers always win 2 out of 3 games since they JUST FINALLY had a winning streak longer than 2 games end at 3 with a loss against Detroit yesterday. So I figured if they kept that same pattern going till the end of the season, with what looks to be an easy March and a VERY tough April they'd wind up somewhere between 45-50 wins, and depending on how Houston, Sacto, and Memphis do, I think could end up behind the Fantastic Four (San Antonio, Phoenix, Seattle, and the team everyone always forgets exists, Dallas). bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 too bad the sixers lost, i'd like to have seen Cwebb get a win in his first game. I'm more of an AI fan than a CWebb though> i feel its criminal that in so many years he's never had a dependeble #2 scorer, so i wanna see them do well (but not too well )
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 I'm a Sixers fan, I really do hope that C Webb works out for them.
