The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 This certainly will be interesting, won't it, in terms of playoff positions
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Figured Shaq would miss like 20 games this year, but nothing this severe. The East is know the Pistons to lose.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Wait wait wait....the thing on ESPN.com doesn't say he's done for the season. It just says he's going to have his knee checked out and won't play until then.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 I noticed that has well. Figured it was on tv.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 23, 2005 HAHAHAHAHA He was already declining. A season-ending injury only solidifies that he will never play to the level that he once did, where his presence and his presence alone made a difference. It still did obviously this season, but who do the Heat have to back him up at center now to keep their push going? EDIT: Nevermind. Damn y'all, get your stories straight. Oh well, this is what I had in mind in thinking that getting rid of Shaq wasn't such a bad idea after all. Every year he gets some sort of nagging injury, and it was only a matter of time before they all catch up to him, along with his getting older.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 I'm not seeing anything on any online sites. Only that Shaq is out until the Heat return home.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 PTI isn't on until Monday. Damn, it'll be even worse. We'll have interview after interview with people about the baby Bulls, a food chain mentioning the baby Bulls and an entire show that will just be Pardon the Baby Bulls. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Well you know Mik, the regular season doesn't start until April, so maybe Carlos Delgado can help keep the Miami Heat in 1st place!
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 At this point, I don't see anyone but Detroit winning the East. Cleveland, Washington, and Chicago haven't even made the playoffs. Let alone had long run in the playoffs. Indiana has the experience, but they aren't even a playoff team at this point. No one in the Atlantic division can put any sort of winning streak together. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 On the flip side, Detroit Pistons, back to back champions baby! The Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, and Kings say hi. Psh. The Pistons will whip the Kings, Mavs, and the Suns in a 7 game series (ESPECIALLY the Mavericks). not so sure about the Spurs though, they dont play the "western conference ball" style, they are like Pistons but better offense. and I havent actually seen Seattle play a game this season so i wont comment there. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 I just read somewhere else, that ESPN was supposedly duped by a fasle report on Shaq?? the MRI is actually tomorrow? Just somebody talking on another message board, dont know if thats true. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1998007 MRI is indeed tomorrow. So ESPNNews was apparently duped. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 23, 2005 On the flip side, Detroit Pistons, back to back champions baby! The Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, and Kings say hi. Replace Kings with Sonics and this is more accurate. I'd love to see the Suns thrash the Pistons. I love watching the Suns play this year, actually.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Oh I want the Grizzlies to upset the Suns if that's how it ends up. I think Memphis is cool, so their team should win
