Guest withthefire Report post Posted February 27, 2005 One of my favorite bands is Fozzy, They have had some really good songs over the last few years. They just put out their newest cd called All that Remains. If you want to check out their new video "Enemy" here is the link. the video: http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2663012?htv=
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 All That Remains is okay, but it didn't meet the expectations that the original tracks on Happenstance put forth (basically, "To Kill A Stranger" and "Happenstance" are better than anything on this album). I'd say buy it if it's on discount or clearout, but otherwise? Download a couple tracks.

tominator89 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 Compared to what? I don't think Fozzy is a bad band at all.

jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 I thought the first album was alright for what it was, the second one was kind of over doing it, and that Enemy song isn't very good at all. I think at some point they started thinking they were a real band or something.
Styles 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 From what I've heard, the first album is a fun collection of (mostly) cover songs, that's just fun to listen to. It's Jericho and his friends blasting out some 80s classics in all their excess and glory. The second album is really excellent I think. They put on more original songs to go with the covers, polished their sound and wrote songs in the same "metal style" and they sound really good. I agree, To Kill A Stranger is an EXCELLENT song. With the Fire is good too. That's not to say anything about the awesome covers like Balls to the Wall or Where Eagles Dare. But on the 3rd album, its like they decided they wanted to be a "real" band and get MTV and pop radio play and totally compromised their sound and style. They went from a metal band to a radio rock/nu metal kind of band. I mean, all the "metal" structure that made the band so much fun was gone in order to accomodate the same homogenous radio friendly rock style that sounds like every other nameless band WWE uses for their PPV themes! Which is a shame, because the album apparently bombed big time. I hope this doesn't mean they don't put out another album, but at least grounds Jericho, Ward, etc. to realise they had a niche sound and audience that they were suited for, but are mediocre as a regular pop band trying to get airtime. By your one post, and screen name, I can venture to guess you're affiliated with Fozzy in some way and trying to spread promotion for the record, so if you do know Jericho or any of the band, please pass along that critique. KK Rage 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 There albums are a bit lacking, but I can't bitch about them because I actually show up in their mockumentary that aired on MTV a whopping one time. For those actually interested, look for the part where Jericho is bitching about Rage Against The Machine and how Fozzy is so chantable. This segueways into an Orlando show they did (Where I got to mosh with Daffney from WCW BTW) where you can see me running on stage and giving Jericho a high-five. Cool ass night.
