Baseball-reference.com has a new leaderboard showing batting/pitching leaders at each age, as well as before and after that age. For example, Andres Galarraga actually ranks 10th all-time in Home Runs hit after age 30. Rickey Henderson ranks 1st in both stolen bases before age 30, and 1st in stolen bases after age 30. No other player appears in both top ten lists.

Bert Blyleven is 4th all time in strikeouts up to the age of 23, and the only post 1900 pitcher ahead of Blyleven is Bob Feller.

Barry Bonds' age 39 season last year was the best ever for a 39 year old. The top 5 players in adjusted OPS+ at 39 are Bonds, Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Edgar Martinez.

Hank Aaron is noted for his late career home run surge. But baseball's best home run hitter after 40 was Carlton Fisk, who hit 72. Following Fisk on that list are Darrell Evans, Dave Winfield, Carl Yastrzemski, and Stan Musial.

Find the 194 players who played for both the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, or any two teams.

The site also added Silver Slugger winners.

That site just kicks ass. I spent an hour one time just looking people up, and one would remind me of another, and so on. It's good, because the Baseball Encyclopedia is only published every 4 years (as far as I am aware).
