new Sin City trailer

Why did they even put midget Elijah in this movie?

He looks more out of place than I thought was humanly possible.

I'm still going to see it, but Wood doesn't need to be in this film. Why doesn't he go star in a movie where he looks terrified as a female approaches him. He's good in those roles.

Thank god they didn't remove "Cells" by The Servant as the background theme. That song is awesome.

Did you read the first Sin City story? If not Elijah, then who else would you cast as Kevin?

Elijah doesn't look as old as Kevin but I have no idea on who else would be appropriate.

God he is a pretty man. He really, really is.

Look, not that I'm gay or anything.

I'm just saying, who knows what would happen if I happened to be drunk and in the same room as he was. At night. With no one else around.

Indeed.

Guest El Satanico

I'm not sure how the movie will handle the 3 different stories aspect, but the DVD is suppose to have the option to watch the 3 seperately.

Wow, that's one crazy cool looking TV spot I just saw during the OC.

The commercial with Bruce Willis in it, Bencio Del Toro is driving a taxi, Jaime King with 2 swords, and it looks like it is a live action Batman TAS with the set being dark lit.

OK I'll be the nOOb here and say it. I've never read "Sin City" but I'm interested in the movie based on the commercials/hype. Can anyone kinda summarize what this is all about or point me in the right direction towards a good summary?

Bruce Willis is the biggest/most recognizable star in the movie so he's been in all the trailers. That's Devon Aoki with the two swords.

Here's a plot summary from imdb.

"Sin City" is infested with criminals, crooked cops and sexy dames, some searching for vengeance, some for redemption and others, both. The film incorporates storylines from three of Miller's graphic novels including 'Sin City,' which launched the long-running, critically acclaimed series, as well as 'That Yellow Bastard' and 'The Big Fat Kill.' Where Hartigan, a cop with a bum ticker and a vow to protect stripper Nancy (Jessica Alba).. Mickey Rourke as Marv, the outcast misanthrope on a mission to avenge the death of his one true love, Goldie (Jaime King), and Clive Owen as Dwight, the clandestine love of Shelley (Brittany Murphy), who spends his nights defending Gail (Rosario Dawson) and her Old Towne girls (Devon Aoki and Alexis Bledel) from Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro), a dirty cop with a penchant for violence.

Marv is a killing machine. Mickey is getting almost no attention except for a small picture of him roaming the streets on the poster but I suspect he will be the highlight of the movie. That and the whole Yellow Bastard storyline.
