Ace309 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 Pretty good stuff all around, aside from an apparent continuity error with Sean Davis getting Pillmanized and then assisting Scott Pretzler in his match. Let's assume he limped, shall we? It was a shame that Pretz's match was a victim of circumstance - between Zack's injury and the-man-behind-Pretzler's school play, neither really had the opportunity to write well. I'm hoping Zack (and for that matter Muhammed Koran) sees fit to post his incomplete match to a losing match thread. Wild & Dangerous bring the content. I mean, shit, at this point who does that surprise? They're two great writers and together they're more than the sum of their parts. Spike's 'match' was mostly angle advancement, but there's nothing wrong with that. Munich brings his new guy in and manages to catch Muhammed Koran. Again, I'd like to see the losing match posted. Please, guys, read the promos, since they advance things considerably.
chirs3 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 (edited) If there's one thing I love more than good jokes, it's bad jokes. Toxxic, your opening killed me. Tonight was a helluva night for advancing storylines. Toxxic's opener (uber-intense, once you get past the cow jokes), Mak Attack, the Maddix/Flesher confrontation, and a healthy dose taking place in the matches - everyone did a fine job. Good show. As for the Pillmanizing snafu... ... Sean = Silent's Long Lost Twin Brother?! *soap opera organs* Find out next week, on As The Squared Circle Turns! Toxxic 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 Nonsense. Sean Davis is NOT Silent's twin. Rev-0 merely has access to a time machine. Oh, and Landon - for future reference I didn't give you the Dangerlust at From The Fire, I gave you the Demonstar Driver. Hence the 'OMG SILENT NO I'M NOT!'...thing. chirs3 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 (edited) A time machine, you say? You should totally run with that backstory. The possibilities are endless. Edited March 17, 2005 by chirs3
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 Oh, and Landon - for future reference I didn't give you the Dangerlust at From The Fire, I gave you the Demonstar Driver. Hence the 'OMG SILENT NO I'M NOT!'...thing. Bah. When you've seen one ultimate death move, you've seen em all I guess.
A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 It was a pretty good show. I enjoyed the Landon/Flesher confrontation and disagreement over the tourney. Dangerous is turning into a prick. Toxx's opening promo was great in my opinion, as there was a lot of logic involved in it. Also, it looks like he enjoys fighting Landon, and wants to push him to come back to his level. The whole Toxxic/Landon storyline right now is like two lovers who like being together, but deny it...and want to distance themselves from each other by telling lies and having a war of words about dedication, and sacrifice and what have you. Its like neither of them want to admit that they like feuding. Landon: Ow, my fucking neck. This ICTV title is warm and comforting though. I've had it forever, and it means something, unlike that WORLD TITLE. Toxxic: You haven't done anything with that belt. Come back up to my level, you rubbish bin title contender...you already made a dainty posse up to take me down! But you won't come after me...bollocks and stuff! Interesting... Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2005 I apologize for the coat-hanger abortion of a main event. Between getting home at 7:00, having to eat dinner, being forced to get into a bath that my mom ran without telling me before it got cold, and my brother doing his homework in MS Word... everything was working against me. I literally had five minutes to tack a finish onto the middle of the match. (I did at least try to make Todd look strong by having Sean whack him with *3* chairshots instead of just one.) But, since the play is over this weekend, you will soon be seeing a new and improved Scott Pretzler - one who actually participates in fed storylines and writes complete matches! Hard to imagine, I know. And all will be explained in the SD opening promo. I assure you of that.
