Damaramu Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Dama, Niagra is just playing retarded. Their chucking up three after three, and they don't play D very well. Plus, OU is dominating them inside. Well I mean does OU look good or not? I mean Niagra looks shitty but what about OU?
smh810 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Eastern Kentucky has just pulled with in 5 of the Wildcats, this is one game I wouldnt mind being wrong on.

Plus, OU is dominating them inside. Well I mean does OU look good or not? I mean Niagra looks shitty but what about OU? They look ok. The lead would be bigger, but they've been a bit sloppy on offense, with atleast two missed dunks. Niagra has a really quick team, and they messed up their D rotations a couple timed.
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 It appears to be a 13 point lead now and Niagra just keeps fouling.
CanadianChris Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 UK survives Eastern Kentucky. EKU never got closer than 5.
Guest BDC Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 UK survives Eastern Kentucky. EKU never got closer than 5. I'd attribute a lot of that to some foul calls.
Der Kommissar Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Darn. I was hoping EKU could pull it out. The Ohio Valley Conference just never seems to make much noise in the tournament. It's Pacific-Pitt here now. Boise St.'s floor looks horrible.

Der Kommissar Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 They used to. Murray State made an upset ir two a few uears ago. I think I vaguely remember that. During the Popeye Jones era, right?
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Wow OU is just pulling away now. Guess there will be no upset in this game.

Exslade ZX Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Wow OU is just pulling away now. Guess there will be no upset in this game. Alabama just got upset though.
CanadianChris Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 2/2 so far, with one more locked and a fourth likely.
SilverPhoenix Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Seems like I'm going to go 3 out of 4 for this session. Pittsburgh is about to spoil the perfect first session of the tournament for me. I knew it, I knew Alabamba was ripe for a loss. I just hope Lightning strikes twice, and George Washington pulls off another upset, tomorrow.
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Ok I had Bama. So that's not good. But I had OU, KU, and Pacific.
2GOLD Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Bama going down wasn't that much of a shock as UMW can nail the three. They are going to give anyone with weak perimeter defense a headache. And Pitt is on their way out as well. So one mild upset and one minor upset in the first four games. And Niagara could have defeated OU but they had zero gameplan other than throw the ball up and hope it drops.
Der Kommissar Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Looks like I went 3 for 4 as well. The other two upsets I have are New Mexico over Villanova and Old Dominion over Michigan State. I hope at least one of those pans out. and oh yeah, St. Mary's over Southern Illinois, too.
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Niagra was going nuts out there according to my friend. There pace was to frantic and they out ran themselves.
2GOLD Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Niagra was going nuts out there according to my friend. There pace was to frantic and they out ran themselves. That's just it, all they were doing IS run. They would run down and just literally THROW the ball at the hoop. It was pathetic. The few times they actually set a play, they scored with ease on OU. But they just refused to constantly do that. A halfway decent team with even a small gameplan would have eliminated OU faster than you could say Ryan Minor. If OU plays like they did today in the second round, they are history.
mike546 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I went 4/4. Pitt/Pacific was a really hard choice. I haven't seen much of Pacific, and Pitt. looked really good beating UConn in CT. Good thing I chose Pacific.
Der Kommissar Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Lovely. It's Cincy-Iowa here now. I can't say I much care about this game at all.

When do they play again?
iggymcfly Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I'm off to a terrible start at 2-4, and I've already lost one of my Sweet 16 teams in Pittsburgh. The CBS station here was really pissing me off. I went to a sports bar for lunch, and I was watching the Pitt/Pacific game there. They had about 8 TVs, and they were all on either Bama/Milwaukee or Pitt/Pacific, so I just drove home figuring that I could watch the end at home. But no, they had to show Niagara/Oklahoma all the way to the final whistle even though Oklahoma had a huge lead, and neither Oklahoma or Niagara is within 1500 miles of here. I just don't get it.

CanadianChris Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Four for four, baby. I found the Pacific game a very easy pick. Pitt has just been way too inconsistent to upset a very good Pacific team -- and it would have been an upset.
CanadianChris Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 When do they play again? Saturday sometime.
MARTYEWR Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 4/4 and Cincinnati is already leading Iowa 2-0! Following the scoreboard at work, I got a lil worried about Kentucky's game. I'd hate to see that game if it was as sloppy as people were saying it was.
CanadianChris Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Cincinnati, Boston College, Washington and UTEP in these next four.
2GOLD Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 And I'm almost certain they play on the 19th against the winner of Utah/UTEP.
