His less-than-stellar relationship with Jim Cornette makes that kind of interesting. Heyman and Tommy Dreamer are also working to set up the ECW PPV, and apparently Heyman will announce the PPV with Tazz, as Joey Styles doesn't look to be doing the show right now. -Vince McMahon wants to return to the road even before his knees are better. The reasons for this apparently are ego, boredom at home, and Stephanie having a tough time without him there. -John Cena has been told he needs to get better in the ring. He has been putting in extra time training, and they hope he can develop into a top worker while being a top star like Rock did. -Randy Orton has a bad shoulder now and may need some time off after Wrestlemania. SamoaRowe Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Heyman announcing the ECW ppv makes it sound more appealing because I'd love to hear what kind of shoot comments make it on the air. For example, if the show turns out in such a way that disgusts him, he'll make sure we all know it at home. Stephanie is having trouble without Vince around? Poor Steph! Perhaps she's not fit for her position afterall and the sagging ratings and crappy creative problems really are her fault. Cena should have spent 2004 working on those types of skills rather than wait to the last minute when he has a WWE title match coming up at Wrestlemania. Orton as a heel is a cool thing, so hopefully he'll bring some fresh air to Smackdown.
Some Guy Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Cena has been on the active roster for 3 years now and has actually gotten worse with his reliance on his goofy spots like the "5 Knuckle Shuffle" and the sloppy looking "Throwback". He seems to build his matches around three or four unrelated spots and has no idea how to incorporate them into the match. If you watch him, he'll pretty much just punch and kick and then he'll just do one of his signature spots and go back to punching and kicking. I can't fiure out how he could not have improved considering he has worked a lot with Eddy, Benoit, adn Angle. I don't think he cares enough, there is no other explanation, that I can come up with.
