Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 Just them alone? I've heard Oldham's kinda dull when playing solo (or with one other person), but he's definitely worth checking out if he has a full band in tow. I saw him June of last year; Sweeney was a part of his backing band. On stage, both he and Oldham took a very big hit off a joint this dude from the crowd passed up. TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 Best CD I've heard this year is "Be" by Common. A near-classic. Did you get an advanced copy? I found it online and downloaded it. I didn't want to spoil it for myself but once I got into I couldn't stop. So yah, great album. Not 100% sure it's the full album though since it's only 11 tracks.
