EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Speaking of Edge. Has anything been said about when the divorce from his wife is going to happen? I'm pretty sure with what Edge has done being known that his wife is going to get ALOT out of the divorce.

Guest Dazed Report post Posted April 12, 2005 -WWE sources say that Matt Hardy was released because WWE creative say that saw him as a mid-card wrestler without a big upside. He had been scheduled to talk to John Laurenaitis, V.P. of WWE Talent Relations, right after WrestleMania to determine his return to TV. That call turned into his dismissal instead. As previously reported here, he was never scheduled to be part of the ladder match, even before the Lita-Edge situation became an issue. WWE creative had always planned to reintroduce him after WrestleMania, not rush him back into a ladder match coming off of an injury. Although it's not being said officially, two other main reasons Hardy was let go are (a) he made a public issue of his private life and even though most everyone believes he was a "victim," WWE wasn't pleased it went public; (B ) Edge is much higher on WWE's depth chart right now and it would have been a headache for management to try to keep them apart, and the animosity is so intense it would have led to a problem down the line. -Matt Hardy posted the following not at his website, www.thematthadry.com: "First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for the incredible support that you have shown me in this very hard and difficult time. I have been kicked down before (although probably not this much, in such a short amount of time), but I always find a way to rebound and make my life a better place. Thanks for the outpouring of emotion and letting me know how much you care - I need that now. For all of you who believe in me, cheer for me, and care for me, I am not going away - I will rise above. Thanks and much love... " From - The Torch (Thanks HTQ)
Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Awww, that Matthew is just adorable. Edge is my new WWE hero. He knows the score. He knows what it takes to get ahead. Triple-H better watch his back. He better watch Stephanie's back. Lock the doors. Seal the windows. Nail the doggie-door shut. Edge is stopping by later to borrow a cup of sugar. He's definitely world championship material. He's just one well-placed three-way away from main-eventing Mania.
Twisted Intestine 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 On the bright side, Matt Hardy can get unleashed on his website about the WWE now, with nothing to lose. On the other, he won't. Pussy. Tell us how you really feel about those people.

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Triple H, WWE Officials Respond To Matt Hardy's Release Quoting a backstage source, wrestling rumor site 1Wrestling.com claims that Triple H was generally unaffected by Matt Hardy's release, noting the fact that he "never drew any money." Confirming the reports of the reason for Hardy's release, one of the agents is quoted as saying, "he's an internet guy, we don't need that". Additionally, the company's justification is that Matt Hardy was a "midcard wrestler who didn't know his place," with Johnny Ace being open about never being a big Matt Hardy fan. Styles 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Oh management hasn't liked Hardy since he split from his brother. I remember reading reports that Vince didn't "get" the V1 gimmick and reports of Hardy clashing with Johnny Ace and creative about his push (obviously they saw him as nothing more then a midcard guy- he is small after all), and of course we all know how WWE loves the internet fans and wrestlers airing the business on their websites, so that was like the kiss of death. Hopefully between TNA, ROH and other indy bookings where he should get paid topped dollar he'll do ok for himself. I think the Hardy Boy reunions alone will have steam for a few months... Styles 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 That's REALLY funny. I was just telling my friend on AIM about how Matt Hardy and Rhyno in a revenge movie called KILL VINCE would be funny, and they could kill Lita, Edge, Johnny Ace, HHH and Steph on the way to Vince. And then seconds later I see that picture. Tremendous!
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Report post Posted April 14, 2005 During the Hurricane/Rosey vs. Triple H match I don't know if it came across but after Hurricane went off the top rope, right before he attempted to go up again he threw up the V1 sign. Matt Hardy has pics up on his website of him holding some young blond broad close to him at his house and in his pool. Maybe he's rebounding quickly.
LessonInMachismo 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2005 From Shannon Moore's WWE.com profile: "And if the success of Matt Hardy, Hurricane and Lita are any indication of things to come, it is a matter of “when” and not “if” for Moore to become a top cruiserweight in WWE." Does selling tons of merchandise constitute not drawing money? Kind of like how an entire arena chanting "R...V...D" constitutes Rob Van Dam not "connecting" with fans. That Triple H sure has a great mind of the business.
