Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Damn those are two pretty appealing cards, even at this stage.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 I guess Gunn's appearances must have gone well then. Gibson vs. Jacobs should be very good, providing Gibson actually appears this time.
Guest ArchoanJB Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Yea Billy Gunn' drew the biggest draw for a 1st time show in Herrin and brought IWA its biggest #'s in Salem in the past year or two (since TPI 2003 where they only had 120). And Gibson not appearing wasn't his fault, Ian saw there was going to be horrible draws so canceled him as he was somewhat expensive, right move as well as the Noblesville show he was supposed to be on there was only 24 people there (really dead crowd :/)
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Fannin said Billy Gunn was really cool, even helping them take down the ring and sweep after the show, something a "big star" they bring in never really does.
Guest Deviant Report post Posted April 17, 2005 Ah crap, I now have respect for Billy Gunn. What's the world coming to? I don't have a problem with any of the matches signed so far, they all look pretty good. Even Gunn vs Whitmer intrigues me, and I'm not a huge fan of either. Slingshot Suplex 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2005 I can visually verify that Gunn did indeed help with taking the ring down and loading it into the trucks in Herrin. I saw it when I was back talking to Ian and a couple others backstage. Didn't Gibson get booked in Japan and that's why he didn't appear in IWA the first go round?
