Only trouble is, I then forgot what day it was and forgot to send it in. Legit. I seriously doubt it would have won, but still, it would have been nice for me to show, I know.

Pretzler was Poochie. His match, while it had some inconsistent selling, was just excellent and probably his best piece of writing-per-se yet (although I'm not sure it was his strongest effort as far as wrestling - his writing of Fasaki selling the STF, for example, left a little to be desired).

 

The promos were super, as well.

 

And let us not speak of the match that might have been scheduled after the Wildchild/Maddix main event. I think you'll find that every reference on the show to the main event refers to Wildchild/Maddix.

The selling of the STF... yes, that must have been a bizarre image. I intended for Ejiro to crawl across the mat with Pretzler behind him trying to secure the leg (like when Kurt Angle's opponents attempt to escape the ankle lock), but somehow he ended up carrying Pretzler on his back as though he were a horse. Kind of funny, actually.

 

And it's interesting that you say it was my best piece of writing - a lot of the detail in the entrances and some of the commentary had to be cut to accomodate the word limit. I'll post a Special Edition of the pre-match stuff in the Losing Matches thread so everyone can see just how flowery my writing gets.

Seeing as how I tried to help Pretzler spiff-up his match (Though my contributions were to tell him to make tons of pornographic references), and my match won, there wasn't too much for me to read.

 

Fuck it, here are some comments:

 

No rematch clause? But that's what always happens since forever!

 

Tag match of yay! Probably due to my mind losage, it read weird in a few parts. Or maybe I didn't. It was good, though. Tortoise, often.

 

Pretzler amz more dooing thing stuff!

 

I don't see how Griffon v Koran will be fair. I mean, body of a lion, head of an eagle? Might as well give Archie La Parka if we're going to be unfair.

If I were in a barroom brawl, if my character weren't such a no-nonsense guy, I'd probably try to get my opponent so loaded that he collapsed. Then pin him.
