Guest INXS Report post Posted April 15, 2005 From PWBTS.com: The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that Trish Stratus is suffering from a herniated disc in her back. This was the reason why she missed the Australia tour last week as she was advised against making the long flight. Trish is also very limited to what she can do in the ring right now as she is also working through a torn shoulder. I imagine that if she is going to be staying on TV she will still be on the UK tour as WWE are taping a Raw show in England. People like Jim Cornette, Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, etc. etc. These are guys who made fans boo even the most untalented wrestlers. Dawn Marie could make a good Sherri-ish manager, with all the screaming and such. Trish could give heat to a guy who desperately needs it without taking the spotlight away. WWE should either hire new people (that aren't for eye candy) or transform someone into what they did with Sensational Sherri back in the day. They didn't push her as eye candy... they made her out as a witch who cheated her ass off to help her proteges win, and even uglied her up a bit. This comes up every time she's a guest on Byte This. Look at it this way, if she posed for Playboy and it got her more over, she'd have a job for life as long as she didn't get a big ego about it. If a woman can be a good female manager, though--like Sunny, then I think it's fine. I'm not too fond of Flair being HHH's valet, either. Plus, she's someone who apparently understands the business, and how to work as a manager. Other than her, Trish and Stacy, but they both fall into that category where they end up being more over than whoever they're managing. Um...I guess that's about it.
