Patty O'Green

After party 4 the 4/21 show

Recommended Posts

Short HD this week. But it makes for easier feedback.

Enjoyable interaction between Hoff and Crystal.

Interesting development from the Dude-Rodez feud. Whether it's by design, the Dude gets himself into some funky matches that make it standout from all the others.

Good Brock-Jumbo match. Even better post-match activities with Killings making his return and taking out Knight and Ausstin. I especially liked the use of a metal film canister as a weapon.

Nice little COD promo and awesome "Weekend at Neddy's." Only minor complaint -- Watts isn't the head of the OAOAST film division. But Patty's cool, so I won't ride him on that.

Sly's return was quite the shock.

Damn Crystal and Gunner for ambushing Hoff while visiting the kiddies. That's so wrong.

FM did an awesome job with TLS. It was just good seeing somebody other than a tag team doing a gimmick interview segment like TLS or The Body Shop. The Dude and Black T need to team up one day.

Very good SG promo.

Heh. I didn't know John Brickston become Italian Champ last week. It's been edited into the Title Histories thread. Rodez now has the longest title reign in the OAOAST with 6 months as X-Champion.

THR skit was great. I hope to do THR-Frankies for LA, but I first must finish polishing my portion of the ME, that's why a match hasn't been announced.

Excellent tag team main event.

I like the idea of the press conference and it was set-up nicely but it did drag at points. It did however get exciting at the end and the payoff of Winslow having his nightstick stolen and used as a weapon was very original. I never would have thought of doing that at that point. Well played.

Seeing Hoff curse is really weird. I don't think it happens often. You know my stance on cursing for the sake of cursing. Eh, it was an ok promo.

Patty wrote the Triple-C commentary after the Rodez interview there. I liked it, so good job Patty-cakes.

Nice little match to set-up the triple threat for the PPV and The 70s Dude is really more over then I ever expected him to be now. I know its just Michael Cole's TV show but still...I thought The Dude would be a jobber to the stars at best. I mean lets face it...he's a mixture of Mike Awesome's That 70s Guy gimmik, Mick Foley's Dude Love gimmik, a bit of Disco Stu from The Simpsons, and a little attitude I gave him. All that added up should never get over. Oh well, I'm having fun and thanks to whomever wrote him into that. Everytime somebody does a little something like that I take it as a personal compliment, so again...thanks (even if you did call him THAT 70s Dude).

That was the weirdest movie ever and Ned is now extremely creepy in my book. Alix should become a boner-fide star one day with somebody. Anal bead necklaces are nasty.

The 70s Dude wasn't here for Sly so he didn't care obviously. He was probably in the back enjoying the splenders of a Twinkie. I just know people didn't get along with him and stuff. I guess randomly beating people up is fun.

I don't ever wanna hear about Ned's little buddy Mr. Johnson spitting again.

Hoff used Jackie too. Me and him work on some weird brain sharing thing, because if you noticed he had Crystal insult Leon a couple weeks back when I had Leon insult Crystal. Go us!

Poor Mean Gene :(

Nice interview from Some Guy. All I know is he won't be the Last Man Dancing~!

I tried reading PRL's stuff this week to see if perhaps he took into consideration all the things people said and it obviously had no effect. From hear on out I'm not even going to bother reading a word of what he writes since I don't like it (and I'm not the only one, just one of the few who have enough nuts to say it publicly) and its obvious he's not willing to better himself through the constructive critisism others have given.

I'll feedback the rest another time.

Yeah, shortish show. I guess everyones mainly writing for LA this week.

BLACK

Ooooh, I'm shaking. What now...you gonna hit a catchphrase to try and sell some more shits, you corporate kiss-

Are they available from the OAOAST shopzone?

Aside from stupid jokes about typos, I like the press conference. I can't remember the last time I was part of a segment with four different writers, so it was good to see it hung together well. With basically four consecutive promos, it could have gotten dull but I think we avoided that. And the brawl at the end was a good pay off.

Good Crystal promo. I liked that it set up a in-ring story for her match at LA; that she has the submissions ability to beat Hoff.

Last Man Dancing is a fantastic stip. There should be some kinda training video of both guys practicing their moves, or something.

Brock-Jumbo was a decent little squash match. Post match activities were more important, obviously, and I'm glad Killings has returned, I think theres plenty could be done with his character. The movie cannister was a nice weapon of choice.

I love "Weekend at Neddy's". Especially Ned celebrating his heterosexuality while being beaten down. Ned taking a Cornette to the groin and the sex cave were also very cool. Mr. Blanchard has really become a break out star, and CoD were awesome as usual.

Interesting bit with Sly.

More Ned! I am becoming a disciple of the Neddy Bear. The tag division continues to rock.

A good little sneak attact from Crystal to reinforce her earlier promo.

The Dude/Cornie segment was fun. I like Cornette supporting Dude and showing some heel solidarity. The LA match should be, again, fun, and I think there's mileage for this feud to go after.

Some history from Some Guy - v useful for all the newer guys, and, er, people who weren't paying enough attention at the time. This was excellent, showing exactly why SG wants to beat CWM so bad.

The PRL handicap match did a good job in setting up Brickston as a monster. Not overly long either.

I don't think the Frankies ever got to be in a skit before. Go Frankies! And the HR, who are almost as cool as Ned, but not quite, put in a great perfomance here. I like that the Frankie's promo ability is limited to obscenities.

Adam did a good job on the first half of the tag match, hopefully I finished it off ok. Oh, and I liked Patty's referencing of my pioneering concept, Cole's Bar, a couple of times in the show. I would totally watch it.

Solid show, LA has shaped up very nicely on less build than usual.

Random, Patty-esque feedback.

When i first read Hoff's segment, I found it amusing that Hoff had a 'supervising adult' around when he's talking to kids. Is there something we don't know about Hoff?

The COD stuff, somehow, got even better this week. Patty, you have surpassed yourself. Best promo guy in the fed? Methinks, yes. The NNMX stuff was equally fun. As his this whole feud, which hopefully'll continue past LA.

Sly Sommers? Uhm, okay.

Nice to see we're keeping the Killings character around. Hopefully he'll be sticking around for the long-term as opposed to the short, as he's got a fun gimmick.

Kudos to Mascot for handling everything (and everyone...BA-ZING~!) this week and doing a great job. Match is almost done and looking pretty good.

Skimmed through the main, which looks very good.

More later or not who knows.

Um...I don't think Disney made All Dogs Go to Heaven. I think that was Peter Bluth or some shit. Weird brawl

I'll check the tag match out later.

Hey Supes, it looks like you forgot to send in yo' stuff.

Random pointless feedback I’ll try to do those I didn’t do last week.

I had oodles of fun doing Weekend at Neddy’s with Tony. Even if I never quite understood what the Nerdly’s involvement was supposed to be.

FM, I wrote that Cole’s bar bit. Did I say That 70’s Dude? Oops, sorry!

While the match won’t be at the Staples Center it will be by the near-by Whiskey-A-Go-Go

One super minor nit-pick, The Staples Center and the Whiskey a go go aren’t really near each other. I love the idea for the a Last Man Dancing match, though. It’s ab-fab!

Killings and The Heavenly Rockers should form some kind of entertainment conglomerate stable. The Rockers could do the soundtrack for his movies.

I’m not surprised that Sly returned. I often saw PFL reading the shows as I posted them, leading me to suspect he would comeback at some point. They always comeback. Every last one of them.

I enjoyed the opening press conference. Only in pro wrestling can you attack a journalist at a company function and be awarded with a pay per view payday a few days later.

Really good Some Guy promo. I actually didn’t expect CWM or SG to stick around after AM. I thought it would be a one shot deal.

I dig Crystal’s heel character so I always like her promos.

Patty......Best promo guy in the fed? Methinks, yes.

Awww!

And I’m done.

Feedbackery from Zackary.

Dug the press conference. All of us did a great job on it. As for my portion, and the build to Dan/Zack, a lot of people questioned why I wanted to go back babyface after making a successful transition into heeldom, but I had felt like the time was right for doing so. The fact that Eski and I have been here for three years and never had a major feud allows a lot of history to be brought up, and the Candie angle is just added fuel to the fire. As for Axel/Tony, again, Tony is a guy here from the beginning (the VERY beginning) and this is his first major title feud. Good stuff in building to a PPV I'm really looking forward to.

Speaking of turns, who'd have thought last year at this time that Zack would just be getting back into the fan's good graces again, while Crystal was playing the annoying, bitch heel? She's done a great job in getting the fans to hate her, while the Hoff-Stepper is beloved by all. OAOAST Shopzone needs to get those teddy bears that are dressed as the wrestlers, just so that big lug can have a stuffed animal with the H shirt on it. I'd buy one.

KC is the fucking man, and I'm not just saying that because we're an SWF tag team. Last Man Dancing? Nice.

Another return that had been building for a while in PK's. I'd always get the occasional PM from him asking for ideas on how to come back, but a lot of times I either couldn't think of anything, or just had real life kicking my ass and was unable to get back to him in a timely fashion. Good to see him back though. It's starting to seem like old times around this place.

::sings "Memories"::

OK, continuing on...

Nice little match in putting the non-Spike-handled Brock over. PK probably did a better job with him than Spike could! I kid, I kid. Nice little segment and dug the Killings appearance at the end.

LOL at the COD/Weekend At Neddy's bit. For those of you impressed with Patty's writing, imagine getting PM's several times a day from the man, all written much like his promo's are. They put a smile on my face.

Sly's return, eh? Well, let's face it, there's OMG TENSION! there for whatever reason (I'm as clueless as you all), but if he wants to be back, kudos for him. As Frigid and I can tell you, e-fed spats are pointless. These days, he only dislikes my fandom of the Yankees and Dolphins.

I'll come back with more later!
