muzz Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 I've never really been happy with any of my matches since I never put the time and effort into them that I really should have. But if I could pinpoint one match that I was proud of, it was a random match against Bobby Riley on an IGNite or Storm. My memory of my early IGNWF career is hazy at best, but this match always stood out as one that gave me a hell of a lot of confidence. I didn't think I had a chance, since Bobby was considered one of the best writers in the fed at that time, but when I saw that I had won, it was a thrill. Had I not won, I probably would have left a lot sooner.
TheBostonStrangler Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 OMG BOBBIE WAZ SO GHEY!~!~!~! But I know what you mean, Muzz. I bet most people had a win like that. I almost quit three weeks into my career because I was 1-4, thanks to facing John Kruger 3 times in my first five matches. Then he moves up and I won a five-man match for the IGNJL TV Title. Without that win, I wouldn't have made it through the summer. Instead, I ended up wrestling on and off for 2 1/2 years. It's all about that one win that makes you go, "Hey, you know, maybe I can actually do this".
Ace309 Posted April 26, 2005 Author Report Posted April 26, 2005 Yeah, I never had that, just the first legit loss in six months that made me question whether I could still do it.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 And I ignored the signs that said "You suck. Stop it. Really, stop doing this." and plowed idiotically on.
TheBostonStrangler Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Tom, did I mention how much I hate you? REALLY tell you? Because I do, in fact, hate your guts.
