Guest MikeSC Report post Posted April 26, 2005 At the risk of being negative, these shows seldom turn out well. Hell, the main reason people remember Rock's first SNL appearance is because it went well. For everyone of those you had, you had Bret Hart's horrid appearance on Mad TV. -=Mike
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 Well...Blue Collar TV isn't exactly high quality anyway. I did watch JJ's last appearance...and it was a watchable sketch. Nothing like the Rock's first SNL though. That was real good.

The first one was pretty bad if I remember correctly.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted April 26, 2005 I imagine it'll be about as bad as WWE and The Mullets.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 AJ Styles...acting...good luck. jus kiddin This is why TNA should tour the south. Cuz i'm assuming all those southerners watch that show. And probably would get into the old school gimmicks in TNA.
Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 I would like to see what the hell they would do with Abyss on there.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 I currently put Blue Collar TV above SNL on my list of shows to pay attention to the existance of. Course, grass growing in the yard is ahead of SNL on that list now but that grass growing is damn interesting. I've seen two episodes of BCTV and it actually wasn't that horrid. Guest BDC Report post Posted April 27, 2005 BCTV has a stinker per show, but that's to be expected. JJ's appearence was really the worst sketch on the show he was on. Here's hoping this shakes out well.

Abyss: GRRRRRRRRRRRR, poses and swings chains Why is'nt AMW, BG James, Outlaw on the show?

Because AMW and Outlaw have the charisma of banana pudding. -=Mike
razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 They would of made great fodder for some "you might be a redneck" or "here's your sign" jokes. They have to be better than West & Borash.

But it's easy for non-Southerners to assume everybody in the South watches BCTV (since my favorite of the group, Ron White, isn't on the show that often --- why the fuck would I watch it?) or pines for the glory days of Hee Haw. -=Mike
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted April 28, 2005 Exactly. We southern folk just can't get enough of "you might be a redneck".

Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Geez everyone hates on the Mullets. I like dthat show. I guess I was the only one. WWE wasn't so bad on it, save for the f act that the mullets claimed they were going to wrestlemania (and buying tix at a liquor store IIRC, when clearly it was a RAW taping. Actually I think I still have that one on tape, along with tht eone where the boys create a backyard wrestling league and Roddy Piper guested as some kid's father. and despite not being a southerner, I enjoy some of Foxworthys comedy, even the redneck stuff. My fav one probably being "If you have a complete set of salad bowls, and they all say 'Cool Whip' on the side, you might be a redneck" hey anyone see Randy Savages appearance on Jeffs old sitcom? Styles 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 Well, this is tonight. I'm going to have to remember to watch it since I barely missed Tito on JKL last night.
