Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 Yush, this is me panicking. For Windows Movie Maker users. I was working on my latest music video just last night. I saved my changes, shut off the compy, just as I've always done... And this morning I can't upload my project to WMM! I get the error message that 'A New Collections File Cannot Be Created'; I get this even when I open WMM normally. I've never had this problem before, I've never messed with any of the settings or anything, so can someone please tell me whats going on?? For those at all curious what my mvid looks like thus far, here it be: http://s11.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=37OL1LF...4A1M27T5TFBVQR2
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 Sometimes I'll get a problem with everytime I open Windows Media Maker, it has to shut down. Pretty much I had to close all other applications, including ffdshow, which is a codec app that corrects problems with movies while playing. Apparently when thats running it fucks with Windows Movie Maker, although that doesn't sound like your having that sort of problem. Sorry if I wasn'f of much help. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2005 Obligatory "get something better than Windows Movie Maker" comment, which is necessary again. Please! Ulead Video Studio, Pinnacle Studio, either is lightyears ahead and still affordable. Oh well. While I can't answer your question, I will mention that for some reason, your video is really stretched out. It looks like your source was a letterboxed movie, and you stretched it out to a 4:3 TV screen sized box, so everything is really skinny and tall. Perhaps this is another sucky side effect of WMM, though.
