TheBigSwigg Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I was wondering if anyone knew how to copy something from DVR to DVD. My DVR is from Time Warner cable, and has a USB hookup in the front and an S-video hookup in the back. I have a laptop with a DVD burner and an S-Video port. Any help?
MrRant Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 The SVideo hookup on your laptop is an output so no go there.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 Your laptop doesn't have a USB port? Lame.

TheBigSwigg Posted May 21, 2005 Author Report Posted May 21, 2005 So I'm guessing no one knows how. Suck balls
Jobber of the Week Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 You're going to need a video capture device. You can get external USB ones. Hook it up to the outputs that normally go to your TV, play the program, and record. From there you can clip out the commercials and convert it to something DVD compatable. But as always, video work likes lots of CPU and even more free disk space.
