TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 I was wondering if anyone knew how to copy something from DVR to DVD. My DVR is from Time Warner cable, and has a USB hookup in the front and an S-video hookup in the back. I have a laptop with a DVD burner and an S-Video port. Any help? Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2005 You're going to need a video capture device. You can get external USB ones. Hook it up to the outputs that normally go to your TV, play the program, and record. From there you can clip out the commercials and convert it to something DVD compatable. But as always, video work likes lots of CPU and even more free disk space.
