In case you're wondering, I'm commenting so someone will comment on my match with Mak since its probably been the best one I've written since my return. I'm VERRRRY happy with it so I'm surprised it won.

SIX MAN SOLIDARITY

Manson & Arch Griffon vs. Martial Law

I enjoy the teasing tension between Landon and Cortez and Skye just because it so isn't BEATEN OVER MY HEAD. They just sort of move at a different pace and don't seem to want to look at each other and thats spiffy because we don't need the two coming to blows out there just yet so you keep the burn slooooow.

The complete shot sequence is very well done and it helps set up the action to come as Arch physically dominates and starts to go after Landon's knee. The thing I would have added here would have been to switch the camera over to Todd to get his reaction at having his partner already acting all injured after just some rudimentary holds that haven't even hit his knee.

The Manson-Cortez sequence to follow is also pretty keen as Manson starts the brawl but amazingly can't just pound Todd because of the martial arts skills. Then as soon as Todd has the advantage... bang, go for a cover. Here I would mention that Todd wants to get out of there as he has to deal with a lame (litterally) partner and that a longer match does nothing for Martial Law.

The brawl to the outside follows nicely and logically as Manson and Arch are going to have the advantage since they're bigger and stronger than their opponents. They have also done a good job of starting at the bottom and working their way up with the one exeception of the complete shot spot which was awesome as a first move OhMeGee.

The ending feels kind of fast which is kind of funky since I think there was some more good stuff you could have worked in with Maddix not being there for the tag. But by the same token, why the heck would Manson and Arch wait around for him to get back into action if they can hit him with a viable finisher (which the lariat-German is) and get the pin as soon as possible.

This is a good tag match that suffers from being a bit too short. But considering the storylines involved, its a totally fine effort if I do say so myself.

Fixed. There was a typo ([i/]) that left one wild tag out there. Blargle, and such.

Johnny/Hawke was really quite close, and because I enjoyed both matches but felt they were both lacking in certain areas, it came down to writing fundamentals more than anything else. Hawke's finish was really appropriate, whereas Johnny's was a little less developed (due to seeming to want to build to one thing and then coming almost out of nowhere with another similar-but-not-the-same finish), but overall Johnny's match was just better. That's not to say Hawke's was bad, but I can comment more in-depth if he starts a thread.

I was disappointed that JJJ didn't show for his match with David.
