Now, the somewhat-likely scenario is that Hussan will get his ass handed to him by UT at the Bash, and we'll get a "one-time-only" face vs. face Batista/UT match at SS.

I'm expecting Undertaker vs. Batista as the main event, since none of the guys rumored to be working with Cena at that event are probably looked upon as draws by management.

You've got the lineup possibly right. The one part off (and I know you stated maybe on this) is Hassan STILL hasn't improved in the ring.

So, now that Taker-Hassan at GAB is officially a No. 1 Contenders match, it's a safe bet that the winner faces Batista at Summerslam. If Taker wins, fine... the only problem is that there's a good chance the fans will cheer Taker over hometown boy Batista. Nothing major though.

 

Now I'm starting to believe that they really are going for the Batista-Hassan match. There's just too many problems here though. Firstly, they're going to really need to make Hassan seem like a threat going in. So far he's been only a high mid-carder at best. And the time he fought Batista on Raw, he completely got his ass kicked drawing a DQ. Any intrigue of seeing the match for me is gone. I've seen Batista leave the guy in a blood bath on free TV. It's going to have to be one hell of a good build and not just the usual anti-USA stuff.

 

Secondly, I know most of us complained a few weeks ago, but why did they waste Hassan's big pinfall loss on Cena in less than 3 minutes? The same guy is possibly going to be headlining the second biggest show of the year.

For RAW:

Cena vs Angle for the WWE Title

Hogan vs HBK

Carlito vs RVD IC TITLE

 

HHH is off until after Summerslam. I just cannot see them putting Edge in there and leaving Angle off of the top of the card. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked to see Edge never get the PPV title match with MITB. I see Cena going through Jericho on TV, Angle at Summerslam, leading to HBK in the fall, and HHH maybe at Mania or Rumble.

 

Maybe add Edge vs Matt Hardy as welll if Matt signs..

 

For Smackdown:

Batista vs Hassan

Lesnar vs JBL

Undertaker vs Orton

Eddie vs Rey gimmick match

 

If they hold off on Lesnar's return, JBL will work Benoit.

 

 

Either way, this is the right time for HHH to take him off to get away because they don't need him for this show at all.

It hasnt really been mentioned on RAW and SD though.

 

Regarding SummerSlam I can see any of the following happening:

 

Cena vs Jericho for WWE Title

HBK vs Hogan *

Angle vs HHH/Shelton

Eddie vs Rey with Stip *

MNM vs Heidi and friend (most probably done at GAB and ended there hopefully)

CCC vs RVD for IC Title (if RVD is good to go)

Edge/Snistky vs Kane/Hardy (if Matt is back in time)

 

Regarding WHC and the US title I think it depends on whether Orton is back, we could have

 

Batista vs Hassan for WHC

JBL vs Benoit for US

Orton vs UT

 

OR

 

Batista vs UT for WHC

Hassan vs Benoit for US

JBL cutting a promo as how he cant be on the card

 

OR

 

Batista vs UT vs JBL (since UT becomes Number 1 contender and JBL and Batista ends in a DQ)

Benoit vs Hassan for US

 

Plus youve got the CWC, which should involve 1 of the Mexicools and London.

 

I know my cards a bit up in the air but IMHO SummerSlam still depends on too many question marks:

 

(1) Can they drag out Cena-Jericho till then?

 

(2) When is HHH coming back? Is he really needed on this card?

 

(3) Whether RVD will back in time.

 

(4) Whehter Matt will be back.

 

(5) Whether Orton will be fit.

 

Id say that the * are the only givens at this point in time.

 

Its nice to see the throw-up and possibilties but WWE will miss more than hitting most.
