Show opened with CM Punk coming to the ring with "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour.

He was dressed in a suit and had the ROH World Title. He talked about how he was the backbone of ROH, but then proceeded to take his WWE contract from the suit jacket pocket and sign it, in the middle of the ring, on the ROH World Title!!!

James Gibson came to the ring and took out Shane Hagadorn, one of Punk's students and went at it with Punk.

Christopher Daniels then hit the ring and Punk took off running scared.

Gibson and Daniels then had words in the ring.

1) JAY LETHAL and DIXIE over THE HEARTBREAK EXPRESS of PHIL and SEAN DAVIS

It was announced that on 10/1 in NYC, KENTA KOBASHI will make his ROH debut!

2) RODERICK STRONG over AZRIEAL via submission

-Post-match, Alex Shelley came from out of nowhere to attack Strong and got a HUGE reaction!

Matt Striker came out and thanked ROH and its fans for supporting him following his termination from his teaching job for being a wrestler

3) BJ WHITMER & JIMMY JACOBS retain their Tag Titles over LACEY'S ANGELS of CHEECH and DERANGED

-Prince Nana and "The Killer" Kruel attacked Matt Striker.

The Outcast Killaz quit The Embassy over the treatment of Jade Chung.

4 AJ STYLES over JIMMY RAVE via pinfall

-Following the match, Styles was set to Styles Clash Prince Nana, but Rave re-emerged and put a plastic bag over AJ's head and attempted to kill him via suffocation. AJ was also beat down by The Embassy's other members. AJ was eventually saved by the locker room.

5) NIGEL MCGUINNESS over VORDELL WALKER

6) AUSTIN ARIES over SAMOA JOE, JAMES GIBSON, and HOMICIDE in a Four Corner Survival after Aries hit Joe with a 450 splash

-After the match, Alex Shelley interjected himself again and ran in from the crowd to attack Austin Aries.

7) CHRISTOPHER DANIELS over COLT CABANA after the BME

-Punk "accidentaly" hit Cabana with a chain, KOing him and allowing Daniels to hit the BME and get the win.

Daniels and Punk squared off on the ring going back and forth on the mic.

Punk told Daniels he would NOT wrestle him and if he (Daniels) did not leave the ring, Punk would take the title and just leave. Daniels left the ring.

Punk got on the mic and made his challenges.

First, Low Ki. Low Ki did not come out, he is not there.

Secord, Bryan Danielson. Same deal with Ki.

Third, The Briscoes. Third times the charm, but no Briscoes.

Enter Mick Foley. Foley tells Punk that he MUST choose someone and Punk finally makes his choice:

JAY LETHAL

8) CM PUNK over JAY LETHAL to retain the ROH World Title

-After the match, Samoa Joe got into it with Punk. James Gibson also interjected himself.

Mick Foley got on the mic and told Punk that he had talked to Vince McMahon. He relayed to Punk that Vince wanted him (Punk) to defend the title again tomorrow.

Sounds like a great show.

Every match really interests me, except maybe Walker v. Nigel. But that's only because I've never really seen much of Walker. Nigel is great though, so it should be alright.

The opener should even be fun.

Out of curiousity, how did the people at the arena react to this?

Vordell Walker: damn good, strong-style type. Lots of suplexes and matwork, but likes to brawl too, and has a pretty springboard moonsault for such a big guy. Throws some of the meanest chops I've ever seen.
