Yea...didn't know where else to put it.

So, question, is Hogan's real name...Hogan? Like is it legally changed or something?

Just curious because I'm watching Hogan Knows Best (yea, >_>) and I started thinking, both Brooke and Nick's last names are "Hogan", at least that's what they're referred to as.

So I'm wondering, how'd that happen? And how are they not..Brooke & Nick Bolea.

Legally his name is still Terry Bollea, thus making his children legally named Nick and Brooke Bollea, BUT Hogan's whole life is just one big fucking work, and he seems unable to draw the line between professional wrestling and the real world, so if he truely believes his name is Hulk Hogan, well then it's Hulk Hogan.

Yep.

Are you gonna argue with Hogan?

I think his wife called him Terry in the first episode. Though I'm assuming the producers want everyone going by Hogan, because of the name value and such. Besides, could you imagine a show named "Bollea knows best".

Wouldn't a better name for the show be "Hulk Knows Best" cuz Hogan is generic and can mean any of the family right?

I am assuming that Brooke is using the Hogan name for recognition, altough I don't see how being Hulksters daughter is going to lead to people buying records, save for the 3 people who bought the "Hulk Hogan and The Wrestling Boot Band" cd.

I assume they didn't want to call it "Hulk Knows Best" because of potential problems with Marvel. Even though Hogan bought the rights to use the name "Hulk Hogan", just using "Hulk" in the title doesn't give away that it is about Hogan and thus could create "confusion in the television market" or something like that.

I thought the same thing.
