Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2005 Question... will they have to blur ALL the scratch WWF logos from WM 14 through 18? I'm sure they will... but that'll suck. Won't it also be the first time a full attitude-era show will be released after the switch to WWE? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WM 14 didn't use the scracth logo, maybe only on the mics, but they were still using the classic logo on the corners, entrance way, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They used the scratch logo for scene transitions. Very big scratch logo too, IIRC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The scratch wwf logo was also on the ring apron too remember they also tend to blur out people in the stands wearing srcatch logo shirts hats or signs so that might be a prob. and remember the massive amounts of music editing needed for wm 1 (for hogan, richter with lauper, JYd, etc) I own the legacy vhs box set of 1-14 (which cost 149 bucks btw)and oddly enough they dont edit any music from wm 1 but just to have 1-14 on dvd is cool to me, and is long overdue. A driving guitar beat heralded his explosion to the ring with his signature arm bands and face paint. His intensity was unparalleled. His controversial personality was equally unmatched. Exclusive interviews with Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff break down the Ultimate Warrior's stints in WWE & WCW. Find out exactly what happened at Summerslam 1991 when The Ultimate Warrior held up the WWE for more money! DVD Extras: vs Terry Gibbs - Wrestling Challenge 24/10/87 vs Honky Tonk Man - Intercontinental Championship Match - Summerslam 29/8/88 vs Hulk Hogan - Title vs Title Match - Wrestlemania VI 1/4/90 vs Ravishing Rick Rude - WWE Championship Steel Cage Match - Summerslam 17/8/90 vs Macho King Randy Savage - Retirement Match - Wrestlemania VII 24/3/91 Now, don't bring up concerns about the lack of matches - it could be that the DVD contains a long documentary, or it could be that other matches are in the main program and it also could be likely that they haven't announced all of the matches. Nonetheless, the DVD is scheduled for release later this month.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 7, 2005 The Warrior and Undertaker cover arts have been horrible. They really better give Bret, the Ric Flair treatment with it's cover and packaging.

Besides How can they put the SS 90 cage match with Rude instead of the 89 SS match thats a million times better. And putting Mania matches on it may make some of us reluctant to buy it when the WM series is finally coming out on dvd later in the year.

Just like the differences between the Wrestlemania sets (Legacy and Attitude), I can imagine they are going to be very different for various reasons. I'm going to buy the new boxsets despite owning X-7 through XXI, so I'll take the discs that are better, package them in the boxset, then sell the seperate shows with the discs that I don't want. The HTM-UW squash would eat up less than 25 seconds, and I imagine the Terry Gibbs match is none too long either. The documentary must be fairly long, and I imagine any other matches they include will only be highlights within that documentary. A single-disc set is probably all this DVD really *needs*, anyway.
