Guest JustPassinBy Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Might the DNC not be supporting Lieberman because he lost his primary? I'd say that and his stock is just plummeting around the nation. Being for censorship and supporting the war was a death sentence for him. He lost the middle of the road voters and he lost the Democrats so he pretty much has nothing anymore it seems. Joe might want to realize his time has been exhausted and head to a nice position on a college board. Also, how EXACTLY does Rick Santorum keep getting voted back in? Is the area he's from just completely nuts? What does Rick Santorum support that you disagree with? I really like Rick Santorum. He's one of the first Senators to clearly define the war against ISLAMIC fascists. None of this political correct "terrorist" garbage. Its crazy muslims that want to kill us. Give props to Santorum for having the balls to stand up and clearly identify our enemies. He gets re-elected, bc the Pennsylvanians like a guy that just stands up and tells it the way it is.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Dem dang crazy muslims always fussin 'n' a feudin with us.
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 He gets re-elected, bc the Pennsylvanians like a guy that just stands up and tells it the way it is. Santorum can fuck off.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Creepsville USA is having its gubernatorial debate on C-SPAN. Some woman just asked Mark Green what he's going to do to retain retirees in Wisconsin. What's he supposed to do, bump up the temperature from November to May? Old people move to Florida because it's fucking cold up here! "I'm the governor of the greatest state in the country!" Oh, stop pandering. There's probably some guy ramming an empty bottle of Spotted Cow up some girl's cunt down the street from this auditorium.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Jim Doyle is our answer to Hubert Humphrey.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Sweet God...Adlai wasn't that fucking bad. Edit - I'm not talking about how the weirdos look.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I think Doyle's dad got into politics as an Adlai guy, though I could be wrong on this.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I think the reason so many Wisconsin women were concerned with property taxes is because they themselves are houses.
Slayer Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 What does she do, show up at AFL-CIO rallies and promise to give everyone free McDonald's for lunch and an extra recess? Hey, that was every student council campaign ever, wasn't it
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Ed Thompson would make a much better Governor than either Green or Jimbob Doyle. Sadly, he, like his less drunken brother, is not taking part in the election this year.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Was he the one that runs a supper club or something? Somebody was listed as "proprietor of supper club"
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 That was probably the classy way of saying "he owns a bar/controversial gambling hall." He was a very-long-shot candidate, let down by the phantom college bloc, but did garner enough votes to put a Libertarian on the state election board. His campaign was the only one I've ever had any fun volunteering for.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I was hoping it would lead to some sort of government-mandated Friday Fish Fry legislation.
snuffbox Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I wouldn't mind that. It beats Doyle...who rode in a motorcade on my street after last year's tornado, waving at people working in their yards, with a big oblivious smile. "Hi everybody!"
SuperJerk Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Which one was that again? Y2Jerk had said something like, "Hillary thinks she campaigns like Bobby Kennedy, but, really, she's more like Ted." I found that superior to the student council joke. I changed it when I realized Ted didn't deserve to be maligned like that.
SuperJerk Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I really like Rick Santorum. He's one of the first Senators to clearly define the war against ISLAMIC fascists. None of this political correct "terrorist" garbage. Maybe people still use the word "terrorist" because we're supposedly fighting a war against terrorism. Time to buy a dictionary, you fucking high school drop-out.

I hold a BS in Finance from one of the top public universities in the entire country- The University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. SAVE THE CHIEF!
snuffbox Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 You could be the next Bobby McNamera with your statistical wizardry. Go for it, champ!
Art Sandusky Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I want JustPassinBy to answer my question in the 9/11 anniversary thread.

Guest Felonies! Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Well at least he's right about Chief Illiniwek.
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 bitchcakes. Hey JustPassinBy - please don't taint NewsRadio by stealing their material.

I hold a BS in Finance from one of the top public universities in the entire country- The University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. That sure was some awesome fancy schooling you got yourself, there. As for myself, I went to a cheap state college. Do know what I can do that you can't? I can effectively punctuate a sentence and use words correctly. I hope your mommy and daddy paid for your education, because otherwise you went $20,000 into debt for nothing.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Those numbers people seem like they're incapable of expressing themselves through language, no matter where they went. Who has ever heard of an eloquent accountant?
snuffbox Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 McNamera was a fairly eloquent math guy, but in terms of foreign affairs he was just another justpassinby.
