Styles Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 So I went to Ozzfest last week mostly to just see Sabbath and MAIDEN, 2 of my favorite bands and really didn't know much about or care much about the second stage bands. But I went, and even was up on the railing for most of the day. While most of the bands just blended together power chords and screaming, the one band that jumped out at me was Trivium. The best part about these guys is they're all early 20s, and have incredible musical talent, and I can see them breaking out like Metallica as the future of metal. Anyone else familiar with the band and agree with me?
Placebo Effect Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 Saw them open up for Machine Head and Chimaira a few months ago. Great band with a hell of a lot of energy on stage.
The Czech Republic Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 raaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwkkkkkkkkk oooooooonnnnnnnnn
Red Baron Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 The middle guy kinda looks like a fag in that picture.
Styles Posted August 5, 2005 Author Report Posted August 5, 2005 Well then... Any recommendations? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> at www.trivium.org you can listen to mp3s of Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr and Like Light To the Flies. Both are good.
Corey_Lazarus Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 They're not bad. Not particularly amazing, but they seem to have a decent amount of energy.
